    • This is good timing as we're planning a kitchen reno. Can anyone comment on their appliances?

I believe they're Whirlpool appliances. IMO, skip them if you can and buy better ones.

... to maximize the discount, you can buy several of the hood extractor fans (around $50 or so).
Anyone know if you could return the hood extractor fans without issue afterwards?

    • Sell on kijiji...if you return... you will most likely be asked to return the 10% you got extra on those "appliances"

Funny enough, my wife actually was interested in Whirlpool fridges.

Nope. Says so in the fine print.
Just rebuy and return with old receipt if you really wanna be that person...

If you are planning not to buy medium high to high end appliances, then these whirlpool appliances are your best bet - 5 year warranty ... you will have to buy extended warranty if you go outside.

They will. I just got a 20% gift card on the kitchen I purchased in May!! Try the Etobicoke store if your local store doesn't honour it.

    • Would buying just appliances count as buying a kitchen purchase? Would buying two range hoods count as two appliances?

i would say avoid all of them except maybe the microwave. We did a reno last kitchen event and got the microwave only (well hood fan as well) and they're work decent and look good

I wanted to, but I've begun tearing out my current kitchen and I just want it completed quickly. I don't really have the space to store all if those IKEA boxes.

I was going to go ikea, but I think its going to be custom cabinetry. The quotes that I've had so far have been quite reasonable.

    • What do they mean by “purchase of a kitchen”? Like a dining table set + 3 appliances (Fridge, Microwave & Stove) would qualify for 20% back?
