IKEA has officially unveiled their Black Friday deals for 2021 and you can get a first look at this year's deals now.

For the second consecutive year, IKEA will be going green for Black Friday, with deals focused on sustainability and in-store initiatives like their Sell-Back and Circular Hub (As-Is) programs.

We've listed the Black Friday offers you'll find at IKEA this year, sorted by start date.

An IKEA Family membership is required for all Sell-Back and Circular Hub (As-Is) offers – membership is free with perks including members-only discounts, a free hot drink during every visit and more.

IKEA's Sell-Back program lets you trade-in gently-used IKEA furniture in exchange for an IKEA credit. Trade-in products must be in resellable condition and be approved online before dropping off at an IKEA store – simply log into your IKEA Family account and submit an application to get the process started.

IKEA's Black Friday Event is effective from November 1 to 27 – click here to find the IKEA location nearest you.

    • Does anyone know if we can get an estimate before we lug the furniture in?
Is there a price list that one can get?
What is considered acceptable and what is not?

    • Seems to align with the CEO's 'sorry about our limited stock' email earlier this week. They're hoping to infuse As-IS with the sellback collection earlier in the month?

It says you submit photos then they get back to you with an assessment and approval. Then you would take it in.

    • So now not only do you have to assemble your own furniture, you have to disassemble your own furniture?

yes, you give them a brief description of the item and send some photos. ikea gives you a quoted value and if you agree, you simply bring in the item.

    • fair warning, Ikea stuff usually is worse to dissemble than to assemble if need be.

    • From their website :
If your application is approved, bring your fully assembled IKEA item to your selected store, along with your IKEA Family card and unique application code to get your in-store credit.
So no need to worry about disassembling anything

Actually, it has to be assembled when returned to qualify. The accepted list of products is relatively short and limited to smaller items that shouldn't need much, if any, disassembly to transport (tables & chairs, bookcases, dressers, desks, etc).

      You can return it assembled.

    • What's the advantage of sell back even at that rate over craig lists? Specially since it's only store credits.

Not sure dealing with ikea return service is better 😉

    • Why did they change the name for the AS-IS section to Circular Hub?

FYI there are no returns on them, just exchanges

So unless youre ready to committ your $ to IKEA then you can forget about them for mattresses

Some locations require an appointment to make a return. I haven't tried it myself but this probably means you won't have to wait too long in line.
