Does Ikea ever have mattress sales? I'm looking to buy the Latex one. Not sure how often they're on sale.

They do. They had a bedroom event back in March/April and I picked up a new spring mattress on sale. (I think it was 15% off?)

    • Price adjustment is 45 days, and 90 days for Ikea family members. It can be done online or in-store.

FYI. Looks like they restocked for weekend. A bunk bed I wanted was out of stock yesterday but saw 10 today

The Malm 6 (3|3) drawer dresser would probably work. It's deep enough to hold a change pad and it's wide enough to keep all the change supplies. It's not too high, which helps if you or your partner are not too tall. The would strongly recommend attaching it to the wall to prevent it tipping. I would do that with any dresser though.

Bedroom event but no mattress. I guess I'll just sleep on the bed frame

What's interesting is that the better quality bed base, the Leirsund, was on sale last month for $75 (from $250). Not anymore. This month, you pay full price for it but save on the bed itself.

I've had to buy things piece by piece but I'm officially done shopping at Ikea for a very, very long time. I'll get a mattress elsewhere.

How do you do it online?

Just had a talk with them, sadly they stopped doing price adjustments online. In store only.

    • I’ve done it through chat but apparently they only give out store credit now? Is this the new policy?

Also it takes over an hour to connect to chat but I suppose better than waiting in person.
