Love the Kura, we actually use it as a bunk bed, it can be flipped over and support 2 beds. I also didn't install the white panels on the side giving it a more modern look.

or put the bed part at the top so the bottom has a play area

    • Obviously depending on your tastes, but Ikea makes pretty good daybeds with ample storage. Sale says until supplies last so may not be available all the way until stated Sept 30.

    • Is that first picture yours?

I like the bench shelf against the wall but it looks like it’s taking up bed space which makes me think the mattress is smaller??

Anyways, a few years ago i took two old Kura beds and refurbished into a bunk bed with drawers on the bottom - the drawers can be replaced with a slide in bed as well.

Basically take only the top part of your top picture and attach it to the bottom of the same setup.

    • I just bought a kura bed last weekend. I know the fine print said the discount isn't valid on previous purchases but will they really deny price adjustments or are they just saying that to deter customers from asking?

i didn't have any issues in the past getting price adjustments at the etobicoke location. just brought my receipt in and they refunded me X%.

    • Anyone had a chance to check out the new Slattum bed? https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/slattum-up ... -30446387/

Seems like a good competitor to the Casper frame, but I wish it came in darker upholstery:

Recently had a bed bug scare (unfortunately comes with working in the emergency department, ugh) and I'd like to get my bed off the ground better than what my Malm offers. Should be able to take the slats from my old bed and throw them on the new one at lease.

Was the price adjustment refunded or in form of a giftcard? I just did one within only 1 month of buying something and they said it is via store gift card only even with receipts. (Burlington)

What about ordering for pickup? Call and see how long they can hold it.
