      I bought v8 brand new 3 or 4 years ago and battery is still working like new.

      My partner and I use this in combo with our roomba for our 1100sqft condo. We have a cat that sheds like mad but my partner gives her a run for it's money.

    • I picked up the Tineco A11 Master+ off of Amazon for $397. It's in transit and I should be receiving it tomorrow.

      I chose this one instead of the V10 ... did the comparisons ...

      It was time to replace the Kenmore Powermate 840 Canister Vacuum Cleaner from the 1980s ... everything works fine except for the hose. Duct-taped over and over. I still have plenty of vacuum bags for this monster machine ... the motor is still amazing ... it's just the patching of the hose. I will continue to keep it ... only for use in the basement / garage when I'm cutting wood that I need saw dust and small chips of wood to be cleaned.

      This ancient machine will slowly go to rest.

      If you are looking at Stick Vacuums, the main players are:

      #1 DYSON
      #2 SHARK
      #3 HOOVER
      #4 TINECO

      I would be slotting Tineco in #2 due to the quick advancement of their products on the market and the reviews and comparisons.

      I looked at Shark for a long long time ... Dyson seems overpriced in my opinion ...

      Best Buy has a selection of these brands (https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/category/s ... eLowToHigh) ...

      You need to keep in mind of models and how that match up ... Can't just compare price. As an example ... the Tineco A11 has been compared to the Dyson V10 (that would be a starting point for you).

      Refurb has a bigger canister I believe. V10B is animal which is a higher model than motorhead. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Got mine today.

      Biased.. but if you're doing one vacuum and can store it - I'd get a Miele cannister all day over a stick vac.

      Soft roller head is way better at picking up large debris (eg cheerios) from hard floors.
