View alloh, he finally came back and said I am right. they will send the gift card in a couple of weeks
The support agent was very friendly and apologetic to the situation and said she's not sure what happened in the system, but she will mail out the gift card to me asap.
She proceeded to ask for my name, phone number, and mailing address and indicated I should receive the gift card in the mail within 7 to 10 business days.
If you have not received your gift card, I would advise you to contact them at the above number.
For those that contacted Triangle Mastercard, do you actually have that credit card? I used Masterpass with a different credit card.
I called the customer support line 1-866-746-7287 and the agent asked me to ask the Customer Service Desk at the store.
So I told him the promotion was meant for online purchases and the store is supposed to help me.
Yes Sir, he says...
I'll give it a shot...
Worse case, I would have lost my time.
And coincidentally, I just received a follow-up call from Canadian Tire customer service - she said they got in touch with Masterpass, who said there was a glitch that prevented my 4 x $25 cards from being processed. That's been fixed and the cards will be processed this week, and I'll get them in the mail in 2-3 weeks. No idea if that's the case for all missing cards, or only for cases like mine where I specifically reached out.
I have not received my $25 gc yet either.
I've emailed, Twitter Canadian Tire customer service and corporate info numerous times - no response at all. All I get is the generic COVID message. Called the call center, they are claiming it's "MasterPass" handling it. Emailed MasterPass, they responded saying I need to call them.
Canadian Tire is useless on this issue, if someone has direct access to the department that is handling this, please let us know.
I see some items were processed while others still waiting.
