Thanks for posting the deals. Apparently it was played on the B.E.T network before. Warning strong language.

    • I will probably finally pick up that socket set. Be a lot nicer than having the one in the shop thats not portable. Doubt theres anything else useful there that I would need.

It's a good price for that specific saw. It's not the most accurate saw and the adjustments are pretty basic. I used it for my deck and it held up, but I got pretty annoyed with the adjusting I had to keep doing. It's also hella loud. The stock blade is definitely not for trim or finish work, very basic.

Bought a MasterCraft 10" dual-bevel sliding mitre saw about 10 years ago.
Summer workshop was the garage, and it was stored in the basement in the winter.
Laser was never accurate, but that's to be expected on a lower priced saw.
But I changed the blade when I bought it and it worked well - made cuts that were good enough for what I needed; baseboards, trim etc.
After about 6 years the rails started to rust and it didn't slide smoothly anymore.
I would suggest it's an ok deal for an inexpensive saw that will work for a number of years, but you'll probably end up upgrading sometime in the future.

This is actually pretty decent. You get 3 service calls per year with the silver membership. Although, towing is only 10km to your choice of destination (25km to a CT Service Centre)
