    • I don't understand this promotion at all.

Like checkout with the cashier at Whole Foods? I tell them the code? How does that connect to my Prime account?

I think they mean enter the promo code from Whole Foods into your Amazon.ca checkout.

So I assume every Whole Foods receipt will come with an amazon code then?

    • You had to load up the barcode on your Amazon.ca Prime account during checkout to get the credit last year.

    • One more question... does it work for the Prime Free Trial members? Or only for paying Prime members?

I don't see the details page up on the Amazon.ca website yet but I'm assuming it'll be a straight $10 credit to use however you see fit (like how they're doing it in the US).

Should be. This is from the US page:
The $10 account credit is good for purchases on Amazon.com or the Amazon shopping app. It does not apply to Amazon Gift Cards, alcohol, subscriptions, tax, shipping costs, or Prime Now orders.

    • Sounds like it's a code they will print on the receipt and then you enter that when you check out online.

would be no tax if buying food. I am wondering what can I spend $10 at whole food, couple of organic bananas? their stuff are insanely expensive

If you buy Apple Cider Vinegar, their huge Filsinger Organic Apple Cider Vinegar 3.78 L bottle is surprisingly an ok price, $22.99 ... and lasts a long time.

Other than that, if you're going for a picnic, their prepared hot sandwiches (salmon, chicken etc) are good $9 + tax = $10.17 or $1 off on Thursdays for $8 + tax = $9.04 and filler item.

So free sandwich in the end, with the $10 discount :)

And how do we get our scan code? Is it in our app somewhere?
