    • Reminder: Mario party ONLY works with joycons. If you want to have an actual party with it, and think you can sub in Pro controllers(or gamecube, or 8bitdo, or whatever), think again. Its a weird dilemma, cause theres no reason to own more than 1 pair of joycons(outside of playing in portable mode, you'd never want to use them, right?).

Interesting (and odd), did not know that!

    • Luigis Mansion is playable in co-op after a certain point, I think most people arent realizing this because you have to get to a certain story point first. Wife and I beat it, was great.

    • Haven't all 4 of these been cheaper regularly? Like I know it's only ~$3 but still.

There are parts that require motion, so the pro controller can't do this. We own two pairs of joysticks, which allows you to play four players.

Fair, this is true. I believe $49.96 is probably the best price on these ever. WIth that said, and why I used the term "decent deal"...if you want one of these ASAP, not a bad option vs. regular price 😎

Probably about 3-4 times a year. Last sale was...boxing day? Like someone else noted here, the cheapest price we have seen on these was $49.96 (or so)....but if you want to pull the trigger now, and not back in time, this is decent from Walmart.

IMO, Party is best with multiple people. You can play alone but that's best only for practice. Others may have different opinions but the game is geared towards head-to-head competition and cooperation.

BOTW was all I played for about a year, so you're probably good for awhile depending on how frequent you game.

These titles have been on sale before (Mario Party not as frequent), so no need to rush unless you want to play it now.

I play a little bit every day once the kids go to bed and chores are done, and I've been playing BOTW for about two months now. There's so much to do and explore. You get rewarded for just about everything.

Mario Party for Switch on the game board version is not great after about 3-4 times. It is very slow with no way to speed it up. There is little variance. The fact you MUST have joycons is a joke. It's possible some people might love the 3 or 4 mini games you can choose to play (rowing, DDR, etc). But I just would avoid this game.

This could have been "the game" for switch. The poor online capabilities of the system are really shown here. Imagine this IP on Playstation (for example) with the power of PS+. People streaming games, binging individual mini games and perfecting them, posting vids on YouTube of hilarious finishes. Celebrities playing, new mini games being added would trend, etc. Hanging out with friends online, buying skins, boards, games etc. They could have gone wild but it's obviously not Nintendo's style. I'm not mad at them for maintaining their business model which is "sell physical games" I just think it's a waste of a legendary title.
