Taste an all-new collab with a new snack from Walmart, where Lay's Flavour Mashup potato chips are now available in Canada.

Originally released in May 2022, Lay's Flavour Mashups are a new limited-edition line of potato chips that combine classic Lay's chips with other Frito-Lay flavours – BBQ + Sweet Chili Heat combines Lay's BBQ chips with Doritos Sweet Chili Heat; Dill Pickle + White Cheddar combines Lay's Dill Pickle chips with Smartfood White Cheddar popcorn; while Ketchup + Cheese combines Lay's Ketchup chips with Cheetos Puffs.

Walmart is currently the only retailer with Lay's Flavour Mashup chips in stock online, but they'll start appearing at other major grocery stores across Canada this summer.

Lay's Flavour Mashup potato chips are available online and in Walmart stores (where available) for a limited time. Walmart offers grocery delivery in most provinces across Canada, with a minimum order threshold of $35.00 and varying delivery fees based on your region.

Posted March 4: Get Miss Vickie's Sweet & Spicy Ketchup Potato Chips Now in Canada

Stock up on one of the most sought-after snacks at Walmart, where Miss Vickie's Sweet & Spicy Ketchup Potato Chips are now available in Canada.

A brief history lesson is necessary to understand the buzz surrounding this flavour – Sweet & Spicy Ketchup was originally launched as a Costco-exclusive flavour back in October 2021, with some snack enthusiasts claiming it to be one of the best Miss Vickie's flavours ever created. Although larger 550g bags are available at Costco, they're often hard-to-find and sell out quickly when re-stocked in-warehouse.

Now all Canadians can taste the hype, as Miss Vickie's has released Sweet & Spicy Ketchup at additional grocery stores, with Walmart being the first to list them online. They'll likely trickle into other stores including Metro and Sobeys starting this month, but you won't find them at any Loblaw-owned grocery stores until they settle the ongoing pricing dispute with Miss Vickie's parent company Frito-Lay.

Miss Vickie's Sweet & Spicy Ketchup Potato Chips are available online and in-stores (where available). Walmart offers grocery delivery in most provinces across Canada, with a minimum order threshold of $35.00 and varying delivery fees based on your region.

No, the throw back is made with sugar while regular Pepsi is corn syrup.

Soda pop with cane sugar vs high fructose corn syrup('sugar-glucose/fructose' in Canada). There is a difference in taste and it's surprising.

    • I have noticed that Pepsi Throwback has disappeared from my local grocery stores. I am disappointed as I really did enjoy Throwback the difference between Corn Syrup and real sugar is amazing.

You should be able to find it...

From Pepsi Throwback Wiki page (link):
On March 11, 2011, PepsiCo announced that both Pepsi Throwback and Mountain Dew Throwback would become permanent additions to the Pepsi and Mountain Dew product lines.
I find Target has the best pop selection, but Walmart has better prices. Personally, I've seen Pepsi Throwback at both locations. However, I haven't been there in about 6 months.

I think you should buy a truckload of Throwback and resell them here. You sure to make a small profit!

    • Sweet Tooth at Scarborough Town Centre in Toronto has them. Although you will be paying a premium for a case of 12 ($9.99). I usually get my vanilla coke zero there by bottle.

I found a convenience store in the office buildings at 320 Front St. I sometimes park there (nice big and wide spots!). They have a bunch of US only drinks. I was there earlier this week and saw Vanilla Coke, Cherry Coke, 4-5 different flavours of Mountain Dew (including my fav: Code Red), but no Throwback Pepsi. They are all the same price as the regular drinks.

    • It will be back in the Spring like it is every year. It constantly has a 8 week run, 2 or 3 times a year. I just hope they bring back Cherry Pepsi again this summer
