    • That bacon deal might just be the bacon deal of the year – I have not seen that pricing in a long time for 500 g

    • Epic bacon deal! I suspect many of the fantastic pork and beef deals showing up recently are driven by excess stock in the Canadian market due to Chinese tariffs on Canadian products. I'd rather spend 2 bux on half a kilo of Canadian bacon than on some crappy Chinese plastic trinkets from the dollar store any day of the week. Thanks OP!

    • I used to avoid everything no name... But have to say their bacon... Aside from the fact that it's truly a lb, is fantastic. .

      Great deal.

It's thin sliced? After eating all thick sliced bacon I have trouble going back to thin sliced bacon

    • That bacon deal is unbelievable. I consider $3.50-4 a great deal for a 500g pack.

    • We are not putting names on bacon because we do not want to assume the gender of the bacon?

    • If only it was thick sliced. I find Walmarts cheap ass low-sodium thick cut the best bang-for-buck these days.

    • I think I still got some of the ghetto "Bob's Bacon" 375g pack for $1.19 from earlier this year. I suspect they must have gotten a pallet of close to expiry stock from the warehouse or something. Pretty fatty cuts, but i can live with that. Now I gotta get frostbite doing an inventory on the deep freezer to see how much of this stuff to buy.

Apps like that might be good after the sale starts, but to know ahead of time so that you know whether it's worth it to make a shopping trip to a certain store and plan your week out, sites similar to this one are much better.

      $2 for 500g is a HOT deal.

Cheapest place is usually Costco and it's $17 for 2kg 4x500gr packs (if youre not familiar).

      so this is HOT.

interesting cause a few months back I think in March, bacon hit $22 for 2kg at Costco.... so maybe breeding season was good this year???? + trade deal..

BUT, China has a huge pork issue right now with the pork disease.. so it's interesting.

Why does something that tastes so good have to be so unhealthy?
