    • Interesting deal, and it's certainly nice that they're doing it through both of the barbecue-heavy long weekends (May 2-4 and Canada day).

      Thanks for sharing OP

    • Pay $11.99 for delivery to get $50 in free stuff? Think I might give this a try. Need to see how their grocery pricing is online first though.

Is this really the official website? So many spelling errors...could this be a phishing site?

Keep in mind these aren't rock bottom prices for each item (paper towels seem especially high) but this is based on the current prices at Metro:

      • Water: $0.99
      • Ketchup: $4.99
      • Summer Fresh salad: $4.79
      • Villaggio buns: $3.69
      • Irresistibles bacon: $5.99
      • Greenfield sausages: $5.99
      • Mayonnaise: $7.99
      • Renee’s Caesar dressing: $5.49
      • Coca-Coca: $5.99
      • Sponge Towels: $6.99
      • Chips: $1.99

      Total: $54.89

If you can somehow get all this for $15 that seems pretty amazing.

    • I was really curious how much stuff cost on that image so I checked it against metro's own regular prices.

Full non-sale price for all the 11 items from that I picture:

      $1.49 - Pure Life sparkling water 1L
      $5.99 - Mini Coca-Cola 8x300ml (Only 2.4L Total)
      $7.99 - Sir Kensington's Mayonnaise 295ml
$6.99 - 2-ply paper towels gaint rolls by Sponge Towels
      $4.99 - Heinz Tomato ketchup 1L
      $5.49 - Renée's Gourmet Caesar dressing and dip 355ml
$1.99 - Irresistibles Original sea salt old fashioned chips 150g
$5.99 - Irresistibles Gluten free hardwood smoked bacon, Naturalia 375g
$3.69 - Villaggio Toscana sausage bun (6 Buns Total)
$5.99 - Greenfield Smoked Sausages 300g (Can't find exact one but similar size costs this)
$4.79 - Summer Fresh Greek feta pasta salad 300g
      ---------------------------
      = $55.39 Before Tax

Granted you can find stuff on sale all the time and some purchases wouldn't make sense like mini coca cola at insane price, when you can get it much cheaper in different format. Not to mention you could substitute some of this stuff with out much loss in quality. However I would say this is still worth $35-$40, maybe if you skip on the paper towels and get the absolute cheapest off brand sale stuff you might be able to squeeze $20 worth of stuff.

EDIT: Looks like TomRFD had the same idea and beat me to it. Also I missed the salad in mine originally.

And a very limited selection of participating metro stores... maybe give it time and more will have the pickup/deliver service offered. For now it seems like again Toronto is the centre of Ontario.

    • Yeah I noticed for any item I pick, it shows only 2 locations for pickup across all of Toronto...

"Minimum purchase of $50 is required, excluding: the value of the free products, taxes, delivery fees, lottery tickets, bus tickets, gift cards and other prepaid cards, stamps, postal services, donations as well as any items excluded in future and listed on metro.ca or items prohibited by law."
You need to spend at least $50+tax.

For me no matter the item, pick up is only shown for these 2 locations. But for now I decided against getting this as I don't need most of it.
