    • That Mikasa set for $40 is a pretty good deal.

The vacuum sealer for $50 is a smoking hot deal. Too bad OOS right now.

Mikasa isn't all that good any more. I bought a set of Mikasa mugs in the warehouse and almost all of them were chipped within 2-3 months.

    • is the le creuset a good deal? thinking about it as a gift for someone who likes to cook but I don't know too much about this stuff. Is 3.8L a practical size or is it cheap because it's not a useful size?

It's also got terrible reviews if you look on Walmart or Canadian Tire. I wouldn't buy it. Foodsaver seems a lot better. (And every time there's a deal on food saver there's a guy who tries to convince everyone to buy on $800 vacuum sealer instead...)

Not sure why people bother with anything other than Corelle or even the cheap Ikea tempered glass for dinnerware.

Bone China is actually quite delicate. Porcelain is much more durable.

I threw them away but was able to find the product online: Gourmet Basics by Mikasa Stoneware mugs.

    • I bought 4 Mikasa bowls from Costco 2 months ago. One of them cracked while heating food in the microwave, even though it is labeled microwave safe. Will Costco accept return for it?
