    • Costco has the extra discounts back on for TVs! Just saw it for the LG G3 series, although still a tad higher than it was in October.

    • Sorry how were they only $100? Thought it’d be 25% off making them around $225 plus tax if price is $299?
I ordered two items to max out the discount. The two items fall under different discount brackets.

      iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB = $1,739.99 - $300 = $1439.99

      AirPods Pro USB-C = $298.99 - $200 = $98.99

    • AirPods Pro USB-C dropped to $298.99. Was $319.99 during the promo period.

Submitted a price adjustment request last night and received $21 refund notification this morning.

Makes the AirPods Pro only $99.

    • How often does this happen?
The cash discounts only started last year and only happened once in 2022 (May). The other big sales promotions that year only gave away gift card vouchers so we are in unknown territory as we've already had two separate big cash discount promotions in 2023.

    • Congrats on getting this approved.
The price of the Tv I purchased during the spend and save promotion has now dropped by 300.00, and my price adjustment request was denied.
      Makes sense I guess
      Ya.. same with me..

I paid 1898 before promotion.. then the price was 1698 during spend more save more. So i got 200+ 300.. so effectively paid 1398 for the tv

Now the tv is 1498.. but I can't get any adjustment because I only paid 1398...

If the tv dropped to 1298 then I could probably get 100 back if within time window... Etc.

    • Well, I got the e-mail response saying the credit has been approved and issued! Mission accomplished!

I'm not sure if it would have just happened without sending my message yesterday but I am inclined to believe so, because I received the same e-mail from Costco Ops that @saberon2016 received:

"It has come to our attention that you recently requested a credit related to the Spend and Save promotion that happened between October 9 and 12, 2023

Your request has been approved and a credit for your order has been issued."

In the previous 2 price adjustment requests I never received such an e-mail. I did however also receive the other e-mail indicating a refund has been processed to my card, same that I got for my previous 2 adjustments.

Anyway - kudos to Costco.. a great sale and good customer service!

You are right, got it today. Cool!
I am located in AB, and I ordered an iPhone 15 on the first day of the sale.

Original "estimated delivery" was October 16, Costco shows that it has been shipped on October 10th. But the tracking number on UPS only shows "Label Created".

I am not sure if I should nag Costco or UPS at this point.
Give it another day or two and you should see the status change to "On the Way". If it doesn't change, then it's UPS problem meaning that they didn't pick it up from Costco for delivery.

    • Thanks - I appreciate your help! I used that link to submit an inquiry regarding the price adjustment. I was able to be thorough in explaining the situation. I just find it strange that my first 2 price adjustment requests were processed and responded to within 1 business day whereas this 3rd and final one still has no confirmation even 5 business days later. I also could understand them erroneously rejecting the third and final price adjustment thinking that I already received it etc.

Price adjustment #1 valued at 200+tax because TV changed from 1898 to 1698
Price adjustment #2 valued at 300+tax because the TV was 1698 which qualified for 300$ off from the "spend more, save more" promotion.
Price Adjustment #3 valued at 200+tax because of a new order of a 349.99 item elligible for the "spend more, save more" promotion. This would make the total value of elligible items purchased 1698+349.99 = 2047.99 which would qualify for the 500$ off from the "spend more, save more" promotion. Therefore need a final price adjustment of 200$.

Anyway, I am confident that in the end Costco will honor it.. I mean I inquired before placing the order for the 349.99 item... and I have a screenshot of the prices/discounts if I added both item to the cart on October 9th/10th etc. It's just a matter of time and maybe following up to make sure they don't erroneously reject it etc.

    • When you e-mailed them. Which e-mail address did you send to?

I called in on the 16th, and the CSR rep said everything looked good, so just wait.. but its so strange that my previous 2 price adjustments happened quickly and the 3rd and final one is taking so long... I am thinking emailing may be a good choice since it may get directed to the actual department that handles the price adjustments instead of just the CSR who then submits to that department (and have verified that the submissions look good from their side a couple times.)...

      Thanks in advance.

    • I emailed them on Saturday and they actually called today. In the email I said I called Oct 10 and CSR combined order X and Y to make $2,000 and I should be getting $500 back. They called today and had already researched everything, saw the record of my initial call and that the intial agent processed it wrong and they'd immediately refund $500. No resistance of any kind, actually 10/10 service.

    • Time is everything. Everybody wants their iPhone at the start of the September cycle to maximize the "newness," so having some GC deal 6 months from now is a cold deal.
Yes, it is all about timing when it comes to getting something at a discount price. However, for some people who want the latest and the best at the very early stage with a strong sense of “newness” would probably careless waiting for sale at all and grab one when it came out a month ago. For those who can wait, they don’t mind waiting for the next promo or other promo if they already missed this. It would still be a good deal for them.

    • When was the last time there is a deal on $500 off $2000 worth of an iPhone? That’s roughly 25% off without considering the cash-back or rewards on CC.

For those who missed that biggest sales event for Apple products from Costco, I would not sweat too much on that. You can get similar deal with 15% or more off on Apple GCs (when the promo comes around). It is only 10% less ($100), so it is not a big deal.
