Is there any way to install that artika light on a ceiling or wall without the electricity box behind it? ie can you run a cable to it? I could see it as a good way to light up a room that doesn't get enough light.

      Sincerely,

No, they are designed to only be installed on a recessed electrical box.

Source: Just installed 8 of them in our garage.

Also they give off great light, perfect for a garage IMO

If it's anything like the brand that they carried before it should be good. The picture looks the same, so hopefully the construction material is the same too.
I was waiting for these to go on sale again. I need one for my garage.

I guess that means you have these on a regular switch?

I was wondering how dim these go on a dimmer switch. I'm thinking of replacing the regular tube lighting in my rehab clinic. I need a dimmer and I know these can dim (read it on the outer box when I was at Costco). If anything, I'll just replace the regular tube lighting with the LED tubes (I know those can be dimmed as well).

dont own one, but these are sturdy and I would say yes, no issues for garage/basement.

    • Zavida coffee is not bad. Took me a while to find the right ratio for me. I cold brew it in a French press now and add hot water to my cup to warm it up. Tastes better then hot brew in my opinion.

I bought one last year, I believe it is rated at 1000lb per shelf. It is very sturdy.

Yes they're all wired in to a regular light switch.

      No idea on dimming.
