    • I booked delivery for the 30th, and it’s pending on my card as of the 30th. Hasn’t posted yet but the offer says it’s expired. So not sure I’m gonna make it.
You should be ok as your transaction was on the 30th. Our 3rd and final Voila Amex delivery was on the 29th and it showed the offer was redeemed last night on the 30th.

Even though offer is expired, yours was delivered on the 30th + Amex charged on the delivery date, so the Amex transaction is complete (and pending).

Am still waiting for our credit. You will still probably receive yours, however, since offer expired, you won't see it as redeemed. You just need to be patient :)

      Enjoy your Voila order!

    • The no annual fee lol.

I know it's weird. But I'll take it.
And, you received an email notifying you to register!

Spouse has this card and didn't receive. A 15% return via a $150 Statement Credit is a great offer for the holiday season!

    • That's Marketing 101. Spend less on existing customers and more on customer acquisition.

In this case if you already spend alot, why incentivize you? No reason.

We have found the same in my family. Exact same cards yet my sis who spends on her card all the time gets little to no offers. The rest of us who only have very limited spend get too many offers to keep track of.
      Respectfully disagree. Marketing 101.
How much are you guys putting on the Platinum card?

The last two months alone I've spent over $70k together and have been getting pretty much every single offer on my Platinum. This year my spend has gone up significantly and so have the amount of offer to show up specifically on this card.

    • I'm convinced that the more spend you put on your Platinum the less offers that you receive. Its almost like they believe there is no incentive required to get the user to spend more.

    • And again today! Noooooo
Find it surprising that Scotia Amex cards have Shop Small for December and Amex issued cards don't.

Hmm, Dec 1st is tomorrow and usually a good day for new Amex Offers.

Anyone else think Shop Small is dropping tomorrow ... Or just wishful thinking?! 🤔
@Kiraly, Amex is a tease! Nada today, other than 2 high spend offers 🤣

    • So if I don’t the credit for Scotiabank Amex who do I contact
Nobody - I mean you can contact Scotia, but historically they haven't been able to do anything about it. It's not a "real" Amex product, so contacting Amex is useless. Cross your fingers that it shows up, which it has for me 100% of the time, even if it's weeks later than I expected.

    • Do you know for sure that the $1000 has to be spent in one shot? These offers often apply to multiple purchases totaling $1000. I don't have the offer, so I can't check the t&c.
I have the spend $3K get 6K MR, and it says in one purchase or multiple. I would expect it to be the same on the $1K, but can't say for sure.

    • Who has a 700L gas tank and can buy $1,000 worth of gas in a single transaction? That's a lot of gift cards you'd have to buy as well, $1,000 of them in one pop.

    • Does that mean you have to make a single purchase of $1,000+ to get 6,000 points? And you can do it 3 times? Not bad for someone who has big expenses coming up. Hard to do for most of the rest of us.

On the contrary it depends a lot on one's spending habits, insurance, FX transactions. The travel insurance and no FX transactions fee are a selling point. I get the annual fee waived by having an account that gives credit.
Sure I could go visa or Mastercard route but already have those. I don't mind giving a bit of chase as the other promos make it worthwhile for moi

    • Yeah the odd part is that a grocery store kitchen table (food Depot) that's on shop small earns only 1x scene points despite being a grocery store but when you get the credit they deduct 5x the scene points! I have gone back and forth with support to no avail.
