    • The worst thing that I find about Mc Donald's nowadays (besides their prices which are pretty high for crap) are the amount of flies in the restaurant. No matter what location I go to, the place is loaded with flies.
For me it's the service. Mcdonald's overall has gotten extremely slow compared to before

    • I noticed that last week and I wouldn't be surprised if it just randomly disappear lol. We'll see if it's still there next week.
It was officially extended to the 26th according to my McSource!
Good news, for the first time in nearly a decade, the company is extending the offer to give more of their faves to those returning back-to-school – because we all know that we still need a little summer in September.

Canadians can now get their favourite small Fountain Drink or McCafé Iced Coffee for $1 (plus tax), or $1.25 for medium and $1.50 for large
      until September 26th

I went to BK yesterday and there were a bunch of flies.

I know it's summer; but still..

    • So I’m not crazy, right? The $1 drinks on the app runs through September 26th, 2022.

I guess only on the app though?

    • Can't stand this change. Was so easy to just go to the drive-through window and order and every drink was $1. Even now ordering through the app you can't just hit "recent". I've had many issues with the app as well and the store never has the authority to fix the problem always have to go through customer service which takes like 3 weeks to respond, then they can't fix anything just mail you coupons for free fries - what a joke. My kids credit card got hacked on their app (as did several other people) and McDonalds washed their hands of the whole thing. Always preferred Tim's, now even more reasons not to go to McD.

    • What is the exact expiry for this? OP put Sept 1, the $1 vanilla cone coupon in the app says Sept 1, though the $1 any size drink coupon says Sept 26.

    • the problem with all these apps, McDonalds, PC Optimum, Triangle is that they are so buggy that 1/3 of the times the rewards don't work. I have attempted to use this twice now and been charged regular price.
Your phone dude. Literally never had issues with Mcds app in like 8 years aside from the old payments rejected issue in 2020-2021.

basically order a Nestea or Fruitopia and its $1.05 or sprite coke etc for $1.13 but you can always just select a Fruitopia in the app and fill the cup yourself with coke or sprite

    • Yeah I just lost 5400 pts. Sounds like a lot but really could only have got fries or a cheese burger, and I’d still have lost some of those. I know free is free is free and this is RFD after all, but based on interactions I’ve had and seen with anyone you contact at Timmies regarding the rewards, I assume it’ll just be as bad at McD’s, it’s really not worth the effort.
that sucks. You might as well use another account that has a crazy good deal like a $1 big mac. Some rfd guys are reporting getting this.

Outside of the cheap ice coffee, MCD is still way to expensive for what it is.

Goes well if you buy multiple $1 ice coffees and have time to make separate transactions for each one. I got the bonus points after buying 4 ice coffees separately on the same day.
