Why would you buy a meal individually? Of course it's going to be more expensive.

McDouble meal has been $5 for a few years now.

It's amazing how anything passes for a deal here these days. This isn't even a sale....it's the every day price at a fast food outlet...

I was just pricing it out to see if you actually saved any money. I've never heard of a value combo before so if it's been $5 for years that's news to me.

Has been $5 for years for those. They're under the "other burger" menu on the interactive touch screens in store.

    • Warm deal but I would totally get it.

I can't swallow $8-10 for a "large" sandwich meal deal.

How is it warm when it's been the every day price for years?

I never heard of this combo before this thread either.

They've raised the value menu prices in recent years, more than once. It used to be around the $1.39 mark, as recently as two years ago. Then they went to $1.79, now they're $1.99. Looks like it's not isolated to Canada either.

Edit: The McDouble was my *go to*, I guess it's finally time for me to say goodbye.
But the meal has been $5 for years.

Yes the price of the individual items may have changed but the meal itself, which the thread was created for, is not a new price and has been a standard price for many years. It's nothing close to a hot deal and is actually as cold as can be since it's not a discount, not a sale, and could have been purchased for the exact same price in 2013.

get with it .. old news! thats why u get a jr chicken combo for $5 then get a big mac for $1 after creating a new email on the app

    • Jr Chicken and McDouble lost all value when it became $2 each. For what it is, even as part of a $5 value meal, it is hardly a deal.

    • Isn't this their regular value menu?
