There are no changes to the on-cup McCafé Rewards sticker program at this time. That said, we are currently testing removing the on-cup McCafé Rewards stickers in Manitoba and selected areas of Northwestern Ontario (Fort Frances, Kenora, Dryden). These areas were part of our test for the new MyMcDonald’s Rewards program. We’ll keep our guests informed about any other changes we make in the future.

Any earned FREE reward you have in your Offers from the McDonald’s Rewards program will remain in your dashboard for you to redeem until February 28, 2022

From @Dhanushan post above (taken from the FAQ), stickers are only expiring in Manitoba and some regions of Northwestern Ontario (Fort Frances, Kenora, Dryden). Everywhere else it is business as usual. I asked the people at the store about expiring stickers and they said they haven't heard anything about that.

I got a coffee from McDonalds' on Saturday in Ottawa and the cups are still issued with the stamps.

Even though they suggest removing on cup stickers, they don't say that you won't be able to redeem them so they aren't "expiring".

      Thanks for the Warning.

I have a couple Paper Cards with Stickers and will Redeem them.
Not going to take a chance that they may or may not expire Feb.28.

I still have 50ish completed cards. Still doubt they will just stop taking them since they never really gave out an end date for them and are still issuing stamps. Unless you're in one of the affected cities or Manitoba you should be fine.

lol 😂 I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is in the same boat with a stack of completed rewards cards. McDonald's will have a massive PR nightmare if they unilaterally decide to phase out the rewards cards. There's still a huge number of senior citizens who either don't have a smartphone or mobile data to collect the digital rewards. They'll essentially be relegated to second class citizens for the rewards program. Mind you, the initial purpose of the program was a coffee loyalty program, and now McDonald's has greatly expanded their digital loyalty program to include more than just free coffee or fries.

It will be interesting to see what McDonald's will do with the rewards card program to expand it beyond just free coffee or hot drink.

      WOW!
You The Man! with 50ish completed Coffee Cards. 😱
You must drink a lot of McD coffee.

I only have a few cards.

    • A&W is doing $1 any size coffee until March 15th and their coffee tastes pretty good. IMO, it tastes better than McDonald's and Tim Horton's.

    • Tip: if you use cream & sugar, ask for it on the side. That way you get a much more consistent coffee each time. I love McDonald's coffee, but I find them quite inconsistent with how much cream & sugar they put in (e.g. sometimes it tastes like there are 3 creams instead of 1).

I like A&W coffee (most of the time) but I always visit McDonald's more often because it's way more convenient. Looking forward to the upcoming $1 deal, especially so since my in-app recurring $1 coffee deal disappeared a while ago.

I actually had 80+ but I gave a bunch away. Easy to pile them up when you get at least one per day...another guy on RFD had a picture of hundreds of them! He must never sleep

My experience with A&W is that they are inconsistent from location to location. Most of the ones I tried are total garbage but there is one A&W near me that consistently delivers good coffee.
