      Shitty MacDonald App.

      Is anyone else getting this error in the app when adding a payment method? I can't seem to add a credit card in the app, I get this error message for any card I try:

      "An error occurred attempting to save your card. Please try again later."

      It's been a couple of weeks that I keep getting this error. I'm using the latest version of the app and iOS (iPhone X). Currently, I’ve tried 4 different credit cards (1 AMEX, 2 MC, 1 VISA) and all of them have presented this error. I’ve tried reinstalling the app and making a new account too.

      I’ve used this app many times in the past, but now that I need to add a new card because my old one expired, I cannot seem to use it with success anymore.

    • I saw this in my Mcd's App, but should I add this as a mobile order or just show the barcode to the cashier. Last time for the free cheease burger, even this is a barcode there, I still need to add it to mobile order with any purchase over .50$.
      scan or enter it at kiosks so much easier you might run into a new cashier that dont even know how to scan coupons yet!

      They want people to use their app and/or order using the tablet board in store.

      It’s advertising for their app.

      Don’t talk to the lonely cashier in the store please.

      It also helps limiting quantities I would guess (some create many accounts, some won’t bother)

      I know you can show code to cashier too, but it’s a first step...

      2. They find it a pain to have to install the app to get the coffee.
      3. They don't want to install the app, so they cannot get a coffee.
      4. MCD had free coffee promos in the past consistently and those didn't require the app.
      5. People find using the app to get a coffee is more troublesome than not using the app to get a coffee.
      6. Unless they already have the app to begin with, forcing people to use the app in order to get a coffee means it's not "free" any more than Facebook is "free".
      7. Having the promo through the app makes it more troublesome for an individual to get more than one coffee.
      In other words, because people think they are entitled to unlimited free stuff with no effort?

    • Not sure if this is normal cause I just installed the app but I have like 5 of those $2 big mac coupons on the app and the coffee coupon won't disappear after I already used it this morning! I think I will get unlimited coffees (i don't eat the food) if it won't disappear, life is good! 😎
