Savour the summer with a sweet treat at McDonald's, because you can get a Vanilla Soft-Serve Cone for just $1.00 until September 2!

No coupon is required and this deal is available nationwide starting Tuesday, June 4. For reference, a soft-serve cone is regularly $1.79 in Ontario restaurants (pricing may vary by region).

Plus, those in Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan can choose to have their vanilla soft-serve in a chocolate waffle cone for $2.00!

This offer is available until September 2 at participating McDonald's locations across Canada -- click here to find the restaurant nearest you.

Don't fret if the soft-serve machine isn't working, because you can still cool down with Summer Drink Days and get any size fountain drink or McCafé iced coffee for $1.00!

    • Still isn't ice cream due to lack of enough milk content but is fairly cheap for a cone.

    • Be advised “soft serve dessert” not ice cream

Tastes good which is all that matters to me. I prefer their cones to DQ and KFC.

    • Anyone know how much % cream is in the McDonalds cone vs the Costco cone? I always feel like Costco's cone contains more cream than McDonalds.

Should be the same size but YMMV depending on who's making it. I've had some really tall ones from time to time.

According to the news release it should be..."... five swirls above the cone."

My experience with their cones has been a hit or miss - either small or tall (falling over).
