- Cheetos Mac 'N Cheese, Cheesy Jalapeño
- Cheetos Mac 'N Cheese, Flamin' Hot
Originally launched in July 2021, Cheetos Mac 'N Cheese is a much-hyped, slightly-bizarre product from Cheetos, combining the pantry staple of macaroni and cheese with their iconic cheese puff flavours. The product was originally released in August 2020 in the United States, before officially launching in Canada in mid-2021.
There are three flavours available, each with fusilli-shaped pasta inspired by Chester Cheetah's tail and a unique Cheetos-inspired seasoning – Bold & Cheesy is the standard flavour and closest to conventional macaroni and cheese, Cheesy Jalapeño steps it up with some extra heat, while Flamin' Hot brings even more heat and adds a fiery-red colour to match.
Cheetos Mac 'N Cheese is available online for a limited time and Amazon.ca offers free shipping for all Prime members or on orders over $35.00 for those who aren't members.

View allI'd take great value mac and cheese over this trash heap any day of the century. Don't even compare it to Kraft Dinner.
I bought two boxes from Walmart--Jalepeno and the Flamin' Hot, I tried the Jalepeno today. Quite like it but I think the problem is it's a little over seasoned. I wasn't expecting it because I cooked up an lb of ground beef and seasoned it and stuff then I realised I probably could have not seasoned it at all given the Cheetos stuff is so overwhelming.
Also it's a smaller amount of pasta--which I think might be part of the problem. The boxes are 160-170g depending on flavour while a box of KD is usually 200g. I guess one might either use less seasoning or throw in two boxes of pasta for one or 1.5 of the cheese/seasoning; or, just throw in some uncooked similar spiral pasta with it to get some more in there.
It's definitely a departure from the super bland buttery standard KD, I'll say that much. I don't really eat KD often but usually have a box or two in the pantry (which I noticed just today I don't even have any lol); I think as long as this stuff stays on the shelves though, I'd reach for it before KD.
However if you want a "better" boxed mac and cheese, check out the Cracker Barrel varieties--we never used to get these here (used to get them in the US all the time) but we have them in grocery stores here now too albeit in different packaging.
bold and cheesy 1.78 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B097TM ... =UTF8&th=1
jalapeno is still 2.47 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B097TN ... =UTF8&th=1
EDIT: even better now the flaming hot is 1.78 too!
Moderation is key.
Huge sample size? Pfft if not. Oh no! I am now scared too.

But it tastes like practically nothing? I don't even know how that's possible.

Any other questions?
My kids LOVED the regular one though. Might buy the jalapeno one, but after that flamin hot experience I doubt it.
Oh well, maybe next time.
I'm not even against the product lol
Came home and made it right away, my brother, mother and myself all enjoyed it as something different and new. Probably will grab it once or twice a year.
Continue vaguely insulting people who like different things than you
Quick alternative. Take a big plate (I actually use a pyrex pie plate cause drunks aren't too careful) While you are heating up your can of chili. Layer the bottom of the plate with Flamin hot or jalapeno Cheetos. Cover them with a bag of garden salad mix over the top of that. Then when hot pour your can of Stag Chili over the salad (only 2.00 this week at No Frills). Top it all with grated cheese and ranch bacon dressing. Let your alcohol saturated mind go and top with any other nacho type toppings you have on hand that you won't cut any of your fingers off preparing LOL. Diced tomato, diced green onion, or sliced jalapenos.
It is a great drunk snack version of the taco salad from Wendy's but with some decent warmth if you use the Flamin hot Cheetos and your favorite hot peppers on top.
Dammit now I know what is for dinner tonight LOL.
Plus KD is endlessly customizable without fear. I haven't actually tried either of the boxes I bought yet but with these you'll always have that Cheetos flavour coming through.
