First thing you'll notice is that there's a healthy bunch of lettuce (this is a good thing lol)
The fish fillet itself was really tasty!! It did not have exactly the same amount of crunchy/friedness as the Filet'O Fish, but I'd say it's at least 80% as good!
The BK tartar sauce was not as zesty at McD's but that's negligible.
Overall: 9/10 would order again.
Oh, and these fish sandwiches look tasty too! Can't get the A&W one here due to supply shortage.
Stale and not much flavor. Personally prefer mcd but I need to try big fish first. I actually think triple os makes pretty good fish burger too!
Big Fish used be really big. as big as Wapper but...it gets smaller. (Not big fish)
But can anyone confirm this deal is nationwide. Specifically anyone seen this in Edmonton? I see no posts online/social media or website from Burger King themselves. Only thing I found was, they added the Big Fish sandwich to the lineup for the 2 for $6 mix and match sandwich deals and I do see the offer on my Foupon app but theres no details on it, just a picture
1) A & W Cod Sandwich
2) Arbys Fish Sandwich
3) Burger King Big Fish
4) McDonalds Filet O Fish
Pollock is a low grade quality fish.
In seriousness, it's just simply the best value tummy filler when you're walking around and u got the munchies, most street food won't be as filling, and will set you back $20 HKD ez
Right now, the price for a regular single patty Fillet o fish range from $11-$14 HKD. depending on which McD you hit up(tourist area McD is more), which is about $1.90-$2.50 CAD final price, no extra add-on tax etc on it
Or, a McDonalds inside an Asian mall?
Hong kong, Singapore, Thailand, etc.
If I need a safe food fix(before long local bus ride), I usually drop by to the local McD and grab a fil-o-fish.
Last thing you want when you're in another country is eating local street food before you get on a bus ride where you'll be on a bus for a good 2-3 hrs, and your stomach decided that it doesn't agree with the local food.
