    • Curious...how big are these patties vs. the Mama Burger or Teen burger?

Isn't the Mama burger for $2.99 a better deal? I usually order that and ask for lettuce and tomato to be added (both of which are free).

    • Lots of $3 burgers nowadays. So many low-cost keto options. It's a beautiful thing.

Yes, but not available any more.

Also, unless you are into the sauce, it is still cheaper to buy the regular buddy, and add lettuce and tomato for free.

    • I tried this the last time it went on sale. It is so small. I know that all advertised food doesn't really look like the ads but this one was just next level disappointment. I think I finished it in a few bites and the veggies/sauce were barely evident. People even started complaining on their FB page about how disappointing this "burger" is.

      Save your money!!

    • The Mama seemed small to me so if this is even smaller it's a hard pass.

It may be YMMV, but I am never charged at my local A&W.

The grilled onions is what sets apart the buddy and other burgers, but yes its usually a bit smaller. For $3, cant beat daves singles at wendys imo.

Patties are TINY (as a comparison to another franchise, McDoubles have 3 ounce patties [that is EACH of them are 3 ounces, so you get 6 ounces total in one of the McDoubles]; compare that to Buddy burger patties which are 1.6 ounces). True there is no taste comparison (McDouble are pretty bland in comparison - granted that depends on ones preference).

Mama Burger & Teen burgers use the same/similiar size patty (3 ounces).

Wendy's single burger (the one that is on sale for $3) is 4 ounces.

Yes, but they are quite tasty. 2 buddy burgers is a good quick snack for me from time to time.

If I am more hungry, then I go for 2x Mamma w/cheese which is always 2/$7 at my local. Or 2x whatever the $3.50 special is.
