    • Anyone can confirm how big the patties are for A&W?
      According to the UberEats app, when you scroll down to "add toppings", they have a "extra 3 oz. beef patty" option when you select the Mama/Teen/Papa/Grandpa Burgers. So I'm assuming, it goes like this:
      Mama = 3 oz patty
      Teen = 3 oz patty + cheese + BLT
      Papa = 2x 3 oz patties
      Grandpa = 3x 3 oz patties

      I remember when I got myself a Teen burger combo with a coupon, I recall feeling underwhelmed by the size : price ratio. So I imagine that Teen burger doesn't have a bigger patty.

      A 3 oz patty uncooked is basically like a McDouble (2x1.6 oz uncooked). A McDouble McPicks combo is $5 every day and even I don't go for that because I buy a 2L Coke or A&W at the grocery store for $2 ($1 on a promo week) and the McDouble alone is $2.29 and a small fries is $1.69. And then you pay only the GST if you get it down to under $4. So 4.99 for a Mama Burger combo doesn't seem like a deal for me. And that doesn't include cheese (A&W charges extra for cheese). Though apparently a Mama Burger weighs more than a McDouble according to the nutrition facts so A&W does use a bigger bun and probably more toppings. Still seems cold to me tbh.

      A&W has always been bloody expensive. And their coupons are often lacklustre.

      I think I'm gonna hit up McDonald's later this week and try their $2 off $10+ coupon (that's way too much food for me in one sitting though. Gonna have left overs if I behave myself. You can buy 5 Value Menu sandwiches for $10 + HST pre-coupon). Or try Burger King's coupons. $4.99 for 2 Jr. Whoppers and 2 Small Fries and that's 1,200+ calories and over half a kilo of food right there.

      You seem to have given this a lot of thought.

      Coupon links don't work for me when I click on them.

    • Are they trying to tell me that 2 fast food burgers for $13 is a deal? AND I need a coupon to get that price? What a massive ripoff. I could get a gourmet custom burger with all of the fixings for cheaper.
