      Anything is better than Tim's. Tim's is always burnt and sour.

      McD's coffee is generally reliable and good. A&W is surprisingly decent. Tim's is pretty awful. I believe the only people that like Tim's are the ones that drown it in cream and sugar.

      I don't normally support fair trade coffee as it distorts the competitive market for coffee, but if A&W wants to eat the margin loss, I'll accept the discount.

      The coffee is almost as bad as Timmies, unfortunately.
      I want to add a point for those curious.

      In today's economy, you can add mileage to bad coffee through the right mix of cream, whiteners, and sweeteners.

      Most fast food coffees are recoverable for me, simply by adding a few packets of cream, and a few packets of artificial sweetener.

      For this reason, I've upvoted OP.

      But now also look at the FREE slice Pizza Pizaa thread...those same people that make the comments about cardboard pizza are also praising the free pizza pizza slice thread and bragging how they scored a free slice to enjoy.
      As you said why would you get something that you think tastes terrible just because it’s free?!

      I agree with you. McDonalds coffee tastes more bitter and roasted than before. I swear they changed the brew around Covid. But wlvery few people acknowledge it.

      I really like A&W coffee, it's just harder to find one that makes it consistent. And since they don't have as high of a turn around it is questionable if you go during off hours. I usually just add an extra cream and we are good to go!
