Toronto Blue Jays Blue Jays: New Dugout Deals at Toronto Blue Jays Home Games - Hot Dogs, Beer, Nachos & More for $5 or Less! Dugout Deals at Blue Jays Games

get this deal

If you’re a sports fan, you know that food and drink at the game can be expensive. This year the Toronto Blue Jays have decided to give fans a break by offering select items at $5 or less!

Yes, you heard that right. You’ll now be able to order 10 different menu items for no more than $5. Here’s a list of what you can get and how much it will cost you:

  • 12oz Bud / Bud Light Beer - $5
  • Pretzel Bites - $5
  • Nachos with Cheese - $5
  • Hot Dog - $3
  • Popcorn - $3
  • Ice Cream Cone - $3
  • 16oz Soft Drink - $3
  • Chips - $2
  • Water Bottle - $2
  • Milk Carton - $2

As you could probably expect, there is a catch! You’ll only be able to get these from a special stand and you’ll only find one of these on each level of the stadium (sections 137, 239, and 536).

There will likely be long lines, especially for the cheap $5 beer, so I highly recommend getting to the Rogers Centre early so you don’t have to miss much of the game standing in line.

Don’t forget that the Blue Jays are also holding 6 loonie hot dog nights where you can grab a hot dog for just $1 each.

The Blue Jays play their first home game of the season on March 28th and tickets are still available.

    • A single stand is insufficient.

    • The line up at this thing is just going to be stupid.

    • Is it confirmed that it is only one stand? Or are they just saying it will be available on every level of the stadium?

    • How long will the lines be at this stand?
If you line up at first pitch, I'm sure you'll get to your seats by the 7th inning stretch.

Doubtful. For such a limited series and it being in a different city/venue, they're probably going to try to make as much money as possible during those 2 games. The $5 beers are probably also a way to try to sell more tickets and last I checked, the Montreal series was close to capacity (unlike most home games in Toronto right now).

    • No Name beers for $5.

    • Curious what the selection is going to be. Based on previous years, the only beers I would even pay for at the dome are the Goose Island offerings. Everything else is just overpriced beer-flavoured water.

    • Hahahahahaha sooooo what they're saying is they don't want you watching the game because of how bad the team will be?

    • I suspect that it might be a respond for weaker ticket sales. But...I already have my 2019 ticket package, so I probably won't have to sell my kidney to get some money for the beers.

    • So the team is going to stink then?

    • As someone who works at the Rogers centre, I hope Aramark has enough staff for this stand to make the long lines move fast. I also hope they add steamers to ALL the stand to cook the hotdogs during the loonie hotdog days. The hotdog rollers take 20 minutes to cook and it only holds 50 hotdogs

    • This sounds like the staff selling beers in the stands would lose since people are lining up for the $5 beer instead.

I don't know why they don't offer $10 tickets on certain days for the 500 level nosebleeds. People might just spend another $10 while they're there. The stadium is 3/4s empty on many days.
