Because if you arrive late there's no guarantee that you'll get a ticket. Mind you, judging by the attendance lately that shouldn't be a problem. :cheesygri

    • If you call them rather than ordering online you save that $20 fee. I picked up my pass for $99.

    • Can you move down to better seats in the event of a crappy attendance/team day?

    • Is the pass transferable? If you get two passes, are you ensured seats together?

There's no way this is cold. I used my pass to attend the last 3 innings at work for a lot of games.

It's 95$ if you call in and pick it up. So the $20 SC probably doesn't apply or the $4 shipping.

If you really wanted to, you could probably go to every game and sell them for $5 each and make money off of it. So still hot in my opinion even though the price went up this year.

If you wait for a good promo on gift cards (the star season pass usually is on sale until just b4 the season starts), they might have a promo which gives you 1 free ticket for every $50 gc' purchase (instead of the stupid toque being offered right now).

Yes, the pass is transferable. It says no, but from my experience, you show the pass, you get the tix. Also, if you forget your pass, usually they'll let you show your ID and they'll give you the tix.

Last year I had 2 tix under my name and whenever I showed my ID, they gave me both tix.

    • Just wondering, as i am a big jays fan, do i have to show up 45 mins mandatory before game time to get a seat or is that to assure me of a seat? It's a good deal for $99 (well essentially $200 if you buy 2 tickets).

Last season i showed up after the 3rd inning for a couple of the Red Sox games, and was always fine to get a decent seat in the upper deck. If the game is completely sold out (not very likely...) then you may be out of luck for a seat if you go too late.

    • The 2 for 1 tickets last year that came with juice boxes was a pretty sweet deal last year. Hope they have it again.

I think 45 min guarantees you a seat. But since they hardly ever sell out (maybe for yankees or red sox games or opening day), you can usually go anytime. I went last year in the 9th inning and saw 2 pitches. So the box office is open all game.

    • yea great deal how many home games are there like 60-75? each game for 500 level i believe costs 9.00? so it comes out to much cheaper!

you went to see 2 pitches?? LOL, too funny. I'm debating if I get this deal or the 10 game flex pack which is pretty pricey....argh...not sure. Did anybody who got this package ever move up closer to maybe the field level seats at games where it was empty?

    • I had this last year.

45 minutes does guarantee you a seat. They are transferable. You cannot move to other sections. They segregate the 500 fans pretty well at the rogers centre (separate entrance and everything).

Overall, I wasn't too happy with it. Unless you live right next door, it's tough to make it out too often. i went to 7 games, paid $84, that's $12 a game. It would have cost me $11 to buy at box office...although a few of those were on twonie tuesday nights, where it would have only cost me $2.

You've got to really like going in order for this to be a good deal...and going to the dome and selling a random $5 500 level ticket on game day is not going to happen. "Tickets, I've got tickets! One seat in section 518, row 28! Get it while it's hot!" ...somthing tells me people wouldn't be rushing towards you.
