Watch more movies every month at Landmark Cinemas, where registration is now open for their new Landmark EXTRAS Movie Club.

Originally announced on August 10, Landmark EXTRAS is a new loyalty program with perks including free movie tickets every month, exclusive member-only discounts and more. There are three membership levels and we've listed the benefits and pricing for each tier.

Landmark EXTRAS Movie Fan – Free

  • Earn 5 points for every $1.00 spent on movies and concessions
  • Free refills on large popcorn and fountain drinks

Landmark EXTRAS Movie Club – $9.99 per month

  • One free general admission ticket per month
  • Unlimited discounted admission tickets
  • 20% discount on all concessions
  • Earn 5 points for every $1.00 spent on movies and concessions
  • Free refills on large popcorn and fountain drinks

Landmark EXTRAS Movie Insider – $20.00 per year

  • One free general admission ticket per year
  • Earn 7.5 points for every $1.00 spent on movies and concessions
  • Free refills on large popcorn and fountain drinks

Free tickets with the Landmark EXTRAS Movie Club are added automatically each month and any unused tickets rollover to the next month. For reference, the $9.99 monthly price is competitive for frequent movie-goers, as the price for one general admission ticket is regularly $12.99 at Landmark Cinemas London (pricing may vary by region), which means you'll break-even by watching one movie per month.

Landmark EXTRAS Movie Club and Movie Insider memberships automatically renew every month or year (respectively) and you can cancel your membership at any time.

    • 10 packs have been retired they were not even sold online. they were more expensive then the subscription at most locations but there were some locations that were cheaper since the 10pack price varied by location
That was sort of the "issue" for them having the 10pk card. For example, it was something like $100 at Whitby, but in St.Catharines it was $80. So you could buy it in St.Catharines and then use it in Whitby (I would get them for my parents and family friend while away at school). We went through so many of those 10pk cards and saved a fair bit buying them in St. Catharines then using them in Whitby

    • Looks like the 10 pack is no longer available for sale on-line. Not sure if they still sell them at the theatres though.

    • Hadn't been to Landmark in 10+ years (we live downtown Toronto)

Yesterday took my boy to Dune at Whitby location.

Came away most impressed. Huge, comfortable seats with leather and power recline. Cheaper admission before Noon.

Free refills on popcorn. Tons of available food and drink options.

No commercials before movie, just movie trailers.

      Highly recommended.

    • I did it last night in Kanata (Saw NTTD in IMAX:) and i just grabbed a new bag and took it up to the checkout counter and i said refill and they scanned my extra's card i also got a drink refilled but i just reused the same cup before grabbing the popcorn a employee wondered over and asked if i was a extras member guess to make sure. the site says "refills" but i am not sure how many that is and if there is a time limit on getting them. interestingly enough i see that i gained 1 extra's point for the drink refill and 2 points for the popcorn.
Yes I asked about it and supposedly it is on a 3 hour timer. So if you get a popcorn or pop you need to scan the refill in the hours.

      Btw movie was great!

Just wondering how that works...I might try and get a refill before heading home but at the one in Kanata they are all prefilled bags and not entirely sure how it works! That alone will save me $10 before going home...need to feed the gf....lol

Site finally worked for me and I was able to sign up. Yes I'm definitely going to take advantage of the popcorn refill.

      No, not a premium ticket.
I was purchasing regular tickets for The Adams Family 2, so myself and my daughter could take my granddaughter to see it.
I’m totally stumped on what this ticket option could be.
I’m also confused how this new rewards program works, as it says unlimited discounted tickets, but yet I received no discount on the tickets I purchased.
      So I dunno.
I did get the 20% off concessions though.

      I could get a 5.19 ticket or a 11.49 ticket.
I’m looking to know what I get for the 11.49?
It’s a Movie Club Discount Admit option that’s twice the price of a regular ticket, so I’m trying to figure out what exactly is this Movie Club Discount Admit option.

    • I'm rather new to Landmark, only having went a few times in the past because others wanted to go there.
I'm a bit confused at the ticket options, as I looked today and general admission seems to be $5.19 for adult or child.
Option 2 was Movie Club Discount Admit for $11.49.
No idea what this is or why it is more than twice the price of a regular ticket.
Is there a happy ending included with this option???
Like seriously, I can't find anything that explains exactly what this is!

    • Just checked and you can add your Extras account to Atom so looks like it works with Atom.
looks like you still pay full price on Atom no discounted tickets or your monthly admit but could be useable on Tuesday. there "Movie Club Discount Admit" is 9.99 but Landmark shows as tax included so you will see 11.29 for example in Ontario matching the regular price for Cineplex's 9.99 for each extra ticket. Tuesdays like Cineplex are not days to use your free ticket.

    • I assume that each paid admission will cost $9.99 (plus tax), correct? It seems weird for "unlimited Member Admissions" to have limits though. Perhaps it's just a poor choice of words?
If I read this right it's capped at 3 movies a day and 2 tickets for each movie. Even though it's not technically fitting the definition of "unlimited", I think that is more than enough tickets to make even the most hardcore movie goers happy. They simply want to avoid that people abuse the system and invite all their friends all the time or share subscriptions online.

    • Based on the following statement in the Terms and Conditions (regarding Movie Club: $9.99 per month + applicable taxes):

"Member has use of unlimited Member Admissions at their monthly membership price at their membership price for their personal use and the use of their Guest with a limit of two (2) General Admission tickets per transaction, to a maximum of three (3) transactions per day."

    • Where are you seeing that it is not 10 for 1?
On my scene account after going to the movies since everything reopened. You only get 5 points per dollar you spend now - so I get 50 points for an average movie ticket - NOT 125. You're quoting outdated point details from BEFORE they revised their terms. I've been a dozen times since reopening this summer and the redemption amounts haven't changed but the earning is WAY down. The website still has some old "See 10 movies get 1 free" text blurbs but it's just because they were too lazy to comb through it when they revised the program. If you go on a Tuesday, you earn like 30 points....so it takes a lot longer to hit those redemption marks.

    • Scene is no longer 10 for 1, they drastically reduced the to points you get for admission a year ago or so. It is now closer to 20 to 1 at Cineplex.
Seems like that is exactly how it still works at Cineplex/Scene.

Buy a general admission or 3D ticket and get 125 points. Use 1250 points for a free general admission or 3D ticket.

Where are you seeing that it is not 10 for 1?

^Starting April 17, 2019, earn and redeem more SCENE points for movie tickets. Redeem: SCENE members can redeem 1,250 points for a free adult general admission or 3D movie ticket in a regular auditorium, 2,000 points for free a Premium movie ticket (i.e. all feature films [including those in 3D] in UltraAVX, IMAX, ScreenX and 4DX auditoriums or D-BOX seating), and 2,500 points for a free VIP Cinemas™ movie ticket. Earn: 125 SCENE points will be issued per adult general admission or 3D movie ticket in a regular auditorium, 200 SCENE points will be issued per adult transaction for a Premium movie ticket, and 250 SCENE points will be issued per adult transaction for a movie ticket in VIP Cinemas™. SCENE points will be issued on a maximum of two adult admission tickets per day. Restrictions apply. See scene.ca/updates for details.

At least they have top-up events. So probably worth getting free tier for Landmark in case they have that too.

    • "Unlimited Member Priced Admissions at discounted rates, limit of 2 per transaction" While we do not know what member priced admission is I would be surprised if it was not the same $9.99 as Cineplex for other tickets.
It is. It appears they recently changed it to include that bit (in the last 2-3 days) - it wasn't there last friday, and I remember leaving them a huge feedback
    • Report Post
    • As much as I like that it will still save *some* money, it is still nowhere near the Cineplex club in terms of benefits

Cineplex offers the same 20% off concessions, points on purchases, and one free regular ticket, AND:
9.99$ for any other tickets, including up to two per show time, and three per day. Plus discounts on games and rec room stuff.

When it comes to being a pass, the Landmark one helps you with just one admission, while cineplex keeps racking up savings the more you visit. In terms of being a "pass", cineclub is more legit than extras.
