    • My experience with Crave: Content is OK, but you'll need to add the individual packages (such as HBO) if you really want to get the good stuff. Horrible UI, and it never remembers my subtitle preferences (even if it's for the same show). Quality is not great.

      Agreed on everything that's said here. My two biggest issues are:

      - When binge watching a show, Netflix automatically skips the opening theme. Crave doesn't.
      - Rewind/Forward in Netflix is good where you can see the scene you want and then go to it. In Crave, you have to hold the button and hope that it lands in the right spot. And if your connection is not the greatest the you are waiting for it to buffer.

      That said, it's the only one that has Star Trek Discovery! Damn it!

      No, according to the terms and conditions

      "Gift Cards do not apply to Crave subscriptions obtained through a subscriber’s TV service provider, iTunes account or Authorized Distributor (as defined in the Crave Terms and Conditions)."

      You already paid for the existing subscription. The gift card will be used for your renewal.

      "Existing Subscribers: To redeem your Gift Card please sign into your account on www.crave.ca and add the Gift Card as a payment instrument. Once you have redeemed your Gift Card towards your existing Crave subscription, the value of your Gift Card will be applied to your account at the end of your current billing cycle in respect of the Subscription Fees for your next billing cycle (and subsequent billing cycles depending on the value on your Gift Card) until it is exhausted, unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 7 before the value of your Gift Card is exhausted.

      Yes they do, but should have enough to cover the subscription or they may charge another valid payment method.
