The actor Jonathan Majors was arrested Saturday in New York on charges of strangulation, assault and harassment, authorities said.
A representative for Majors denied any wrongdoing by the actor.
EDIT:
This is his side of the story:

In a statement obtained by the BBC, Mr Majors' lawyer said the actor was "completely innocent" and alleged the star was the victim of the altercation involving a woman known to him.
Priya Chaudhry said: "We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.
"This evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations.
Seret Invasion sounds interesting.
About the only Marvel movie I’m waiting to see in the near future is The Marvels.
I don't know about Ant-Man 2 since I haven't seen it, but the VFX in She-Hulk was truly bad aside from her dress in one episode.

I wonder how Shazam 2 will be.

Anyways the movie was fine. Sorta felt pointless for me as a casual fan and cinematically felt TOO busy in the background.
Also Paul felt just a supporting character; really not much focus on him tbh.

I won't say it's the worse or best marvel film. At this point it felt like typical marvel?
By this 3rd movie, it felt like they had too many characters with not enough interesting things to do.
Janet clearly had a very key establishing function at the onset, but it felt contrived because it was predicated on the classically lame plot device of a character not passing on useful info.
They double down on this with the secret Quantum world experiments (massive stretch that Janet would never clue in on this happening given that Hank and Hope are involved).
After the onset, they gave Janet nothing, and Hope pretty much had nothing interesting to work with entirely.
The way they gave Hank relevance for the end kinda felt like it wasn't well established.
Whoever made the decision on how to depict MODOK's true face is an idiot.
It was visually weird, but not in a good way. All of this could have been avoided if they only showed it for the reveal, then fully stuck with the mask (which looked cool).
Having him take the mask on and off seemed completely stupid and unnecessary.
And yeah - Cassie felt annoying - less of a real character, and more of the need to keep hammering home the key theme from all the movies - Scott will do anything for his daughter.
Not really left with a feel for wanting to see more of Cassie outside of these movies.
Kang was great, but they really dropped the ball by not offering a clear explanation for why he, with access to so much future tech and knowledge, would somehow not be able to make his own Pym particles. We already saw that Thanos was able to reverse engineer them in Endgame. They also didn't clearly establish why he wouldn't strip Cassie and Scott of their Pym particle based tech, and have someone else do the mission. It leaves you feeling there is a plot hole.

Modok was horrible. Newton who I adore but as Cassie, she played her like a 14 years old. I don't know how many times she said "Dad" in the movie but it was way too many times. When she was released from the jail ceil, she has a smile on her face............*eye roll.
Those transition from a serious situation then a "funny" come on line. It was just so off. Those CGI characters (rebels) too much like Guardians of Galaxy characters.
Of all people, you should likely hold out for IMAX, as this will allow you to enjoy a unique visual experience.
With this said, I can understand why many would rate this below the two other Ant-man movies.
This one heavily falls out from the comedic tropes milked heavily in the first two.
I imagine a bummer for many, myself included, was that his security company bros are entirely missing.
While there are various nods to characters from the other films, not having them do even a brief cameo felt off.
The other factor is the massive change in locale. Much of the fun from the first two movies was seeing various regular world things be shrunk or enlarged. This effect just isn't the same when you are in a universe that is basically tripping balls visually.
At this point, I'm also feeling how much of a challenge it is to have a big bad after Thanos.
There are so many things that if they tried with Kang, he'd likely just seem like a Thanos rip-off.
Anyways - It will be interesting to hear your reaction. While there is tons you could nit pick about it, I highly doubt you'll feel super upset or confused while watching.
2 end credit scenes. The second end credit scene brought a huge cheer in the audience.

Shallow me is also surprised Colman is younger than Paulie
An 85 score from audience rating means it's a decent watch. That's completely different from the 47 or whatever from Critics.
That said, I'm still not paying to watch this in theatres because their screens are typically garbage and washed out. It's hard to beat an OLED and HDR display at home, especially paired with a decent Atmos sound system.
I'm not sure I understand what the backlash is about. This is definitely not an Eternals stinker.
Not even close to Thor 2.
There isn't too much of a complex story, which I actually didn't mind.
I actually really enjoyed the visuals of this universe. I felt they did a great job visualizing all sorts of weird and interesting things.
I unlikely will ever rewatch Eternals. This I would.
Just a fun romp to enjoy and not worry your brain too much.
Most of you should stop worrying about what others think, and approach it with an open mind.
If you've been programmed to look for a stinker, I have no doubt your will find ways to find it.
The previous record low was Eternals at 52. Love and Thunder got 57.
48% now - https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/ant_ma ... uantumania
With that said, I got my VIP tickets for tonight. It can't be worse than Love and Thunder, right? Right...?
