    • If I was still in school this would definitely be high on my list. Way better value than a surface or macbook.

    • How's the battery life and build quality? Often they sacrifice battery and build quality to achieve the lightness.

    • Is the ram expandable?

    • Body is 100% metal, just that instead of Aluminum, Acer seems to have used a Magnesium alloy to keep the weight in check. Reviews are great, except that it feels a bit too light. Screen seems to have 100% sRGB coverage as well

    • How would this be for basic gaming? My wife likes to play point and click type of games... so nothing super demanding. Is the video card going to make playing a lot of games impossible?

      edit: would this be better?

Has a better video card, better processor, and better screen, right? I guess it isn't as light

    • "PerformanceGuard Protection Plan for Laptops/Tablets" is ~$140 for 2 years of coverage. Is it safe to assume this is better than your typical GeekSquad / The Source protection plans that almost never yield a positive result?

    • cause I purchased one at the price tag of 799😈 and received it last night. randomly stumble on it when opening it. It goes back for sure as it has a tiny cosmetic issue on the casing.

    • Let's say that I don't need the thinnest and lightest, are there other laptops at this price range with better specs.

    • i somehow regretted that i have bought X1 Gen 7. for around $2000, no dedicated graphics either, except bigger ram, & ssd, 10th gen intel chips. but tripled the price. I would definitely buy this one had I not bought the X1 already. even lighter.
