Just head over to the Apple Education website and follow the instructions. Last time I purchased they didn't check anything online (although I did use my university email) but if you are purchasing in store all you need is the student ID.

    • Don't see any education discount applied to a high-end 15 MacBook Pro configuration... same price as the regular Apple page. Am I missing something?

If you purchase online but choose in-store pickup, do you need to show school ID to pickup?

Yep and it seems like they dropped the pricing for people purchasing with and without education discount.

Sounds painful. I usually only get beats on my birthday.

    • Back to school already? It's only the second week of July. Oh well, I guess everything starts earlier and earlier every year. Only a month to go before Christmas merchandise starts showing up at Costco.

I called my local Apple store where I intend to pickup and the representative said all I have to show is regular ID (not school) to confirm the web order is mine.

    • I just purchased an iPad Pro this past weekend, does anyone have prior experience just going in-store and asking them to get the Beats since the purchase occurred so recently? Or, will I have to return and repurchase which I think would be a huge waste of time..

You can just go and ask, they will match it directly.
