Did that too, no one call back. You are the few lucky ones.

    • I received the sim card a week after signing up, but the temporary number is not showing up under "Plans and Devices". Therefore I can't port in my number and the order seems to be stuck in "Order Processed" instead of "Shipped". Customer service is non-existence- Phones, emails, twitter support etc. Anyone has the same issues? It is difficult to ask them to take my money, just imagine if this is the other way around. On 2nd thought, I don't think this company deserve my money.
I have exactly the same problem. After 3 calls and hours on hold it's still an issue. So crazy.

    • Quick question about TELUS EPP, does this qualify for a bundle discount if I have Telus internet as well?
I was able to get a discount on my internet through telus. Got 300mbit line for $60/month and 1Gbit for $70
Telus offers a $10 discount for having mobile phone with their internet. I called to "cancel" my internet and got the above deal.

    • I have a Telus EPP plan and have not been charged a credit card processing fee. I believe they are not charging it for EPP plans. With that said, I’m considering switching due to frequent dropped calls/bad connection in my area
I have EPP accounts with other service providers and i did my research on all other providers including Telus before sign up so i know Telus EPP account not getting charged for CC processing fee.

I am boycotting Telus as it is just greed move.
While I understand where the idea for surcharge comes from, it is very likely they already have incorporated this cost into their pricing. Now they want to pass this fee to consumers, then they should have reduced their price. Otherwise it is double dipping.

This is just greed plain and simple.

Sure they don’t care about me boycotting them but i am doing what i can do

    • So, I'm getting an offer of $50 for 20GB through my EPP so with the $120 rebate, I guess that brings it down to $45 p/month for 2 years. But I notice that Telus wants an additional $5 for international texting which I have included in my current Koodo plan. If it wasn't for the additional $5, I probably would go for it but now I don't think I can justify it. Currently paying $40 for 9GB with Koodo.

    • Question: I have an EPP account and my sister wants in on a BYOD plan. She is an existing Telus (non-EPP) customer.
First I confirm my eligibility for EPP via the email link.
When I go to add the plan, it prompts me for a login. I enter her existing Telus login, and get an error saying she needs to call Telus.
      This doesn't happen if I create a brand-new login, so it's clearly happening because she's non-EPP.

Can I just log in with my own Telus account and add a line? I know a phone call will be required to "port" her number from non-EPP Telus to EPP Telus, but that's a problem for later.
If this is possible, my only concern would be whether I can still put her name on the phone line so that name display shows her name and not mine.

Isn't call control a thing with the other Big 3? I am with Telus and was shipping for a better deal, I never knew call control is Telus only .... but it is a must to full stop spam.

    • I had a wind phone (freedoms old name) and it didn’t work in the third story of a 4 story building with a tower on top in the middle of downtown Toronto. They kept saying they were looking into things and never did anything.

My brother uses freedom and swears by it.

I really dislike the oligopoly we have here - so it pains me to give them business but it’s not a choice for me. I can’t afford dropped or spotty calls or the asinine messages wind used to force into your voice mail

    • Curious if anyone knows the answer. I'm new to EPP, just found out my company qualifies for Bell, and when I use my email for Telus it tells me I qualify because BMW Canada is a partner.

I work for a big automotive group that own a BMW dealership, I technically am under the same umbrella and can sell BMWs, but I am not an employee of BMW Canada. Will I get screwed if I sign up under a technicality? Or will I be fine?
They validate based on email address. If that checks out, you're fine. They won't ask for anything further.

      • Galaxy S22: Retail price: $1360 = $30x24 + $640 (Save upfront)
      • iPhone 13: Retail price: $1027 = $25x24 + $427 (Save upfront)
      • iPhone 14: Retail price: $1130 = $31.67x24 + $370 (Save upfront)

      • Google is selling Pixel 6a @ CA$499
      • Samsung is selling Galaxy [email protected] CA$860
      • Apple is selling iPhone 13 @CA$999
      • Apple is selling iPhone 14 @CA$1099
Pay at the end if not Bring-it-back or lost or damaged
      • Pixel 6a: $203
      • Galaxy S22: $500
      • iPhone 13: $28
      • iPhone 14: $31
      so
      iPhone ?
You wrote it in a weird way so I'm not sure what you're really trying to say... "pay at the end..." you mean you pay that, or you've paid that much?

I don't see the numbers you have, but I'm not logged into EPP. For example, the S22 128GB model. Telus' break down is:

Retail Price: $1360 (note, this is the carrier retail price, not Samsung's)
      Bring-It-Back Bonus: -$70
      Easy Payment Bonus Discount: -$260
      Promotional Discount: -$480
      Bring-It-Back: -$310
      Total savings: -$1120
      Device repayment amount: $240

      Due today: $0
Due monthly: $10/mo. (over the 24 months).

If you keep the phone you pay $310, so the total you've paid for the phone is $310 + $240 = $510
Price of the same phone from Samsung: $860 so the difference is $350

You'll have to judge that against the plan you get from Telus vs the plan you have currently (or the one you want to change to) to see if it's worth.

The rep I chatted with today said $55/month for 25GB and since I was already with TELUS mobility, I would have to pay $50 to switch to EPP and there are no other discounts or bill credits period.
I asked about Black Friday and he said there'd be no other deals, then he said am I ready to sign up. I told him I would think on it and he hung up abruptly.
