    • Hmm, only a $15 savings on the Crucial MX300 SSD. I guess I'll keep waiting.

$14 savings at Amazon, right now, but it's cheaper at $100 (vs $105 at Newegg, Black Friday).

    • Seems to be a decent deal on the gigabyte z370 for anyone looking to start a coffee lake build. I've not been following prices too closely lately but upgrade fever has hit me again with the coffee lake announcement.

      Can you link to it?

Obv depends on where they got em and who refurbished, but if there is warranty still from the factory you can always extend said warranty and lenovo thinkpad warranty is usually next business day on-site service.

ive had no complaints with any thinkpad ive bought, new from lenovo direct or used off kijiji. I do look for warranty though, and if this doesn't have oem warranty id look to just buy one off kijiji/rfd for cheaper that does have warranty - doesn't even matter if the thing is stolen you will still get service lol no risk.

If you want to look at a random reseller ive come across, you can check out these guys: http://www.bauersystems.com/price-list.html

Price list is on an excel here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... l=en#gid=0

Ex. Thinkpad T450 w/ 8gb ram 256gb ssd for $600.. probably has a bit of warranty left. They also have a T440s with i5-4300u and 8gb ram for $300... smoking hot imo (might even have the FHD IPS panel)

I think the T410 is a 2010 model. That is like 50 years in non-computer time.

Laptop CPUs have progressed very slowly since Intel focused on reducing power usage. But I agree that the T410 is too old. It is one model too old. I'd recommend the T420 with the fast Sandy Bridge CPUs that have a relatively higher thermal envelope.

    • The T410 and T510 laptops are both late 2010 models. Not worth purchasing at this price, IMO.
