    • Solid price, especially for the 8th gen Intel Core i5-8250.. If only it had the a bigger SSD it would be blazing!

In short, 9360 has the following issues:
Thermal throttling (Not Dell XPS specific)
Coil whine (Not Dell XPS specific)

However, 9360 has the following if you need them:
      USB Type A port
      SD Card slot / reader

SSD prices are plummeting, definitely worth it to just buy your own and swap. Easy swap on this device.

    • Deal is back. FYI you can upgrade the SSD quite easily with m.2. Ram upgrade is a no-go though on the 13”.

Unless I’m not reading it right, it doesn’t work on 3rd party hardware.

      Thunderbolt 3?
      Yes. Full lane also.

Correction: tb3 is 2 lanes only. Not full 4 lanes.

Ebates works for 3rd party hardware from MS, but the percentage is frequently less than 1%.

I don't know how they calculate it, but it's better than nothing.

I've received it multiple times in the past.

    • the newer 9370 has 4x pci lanes, dual fan cooling for thermals, while this one has 2x and 1 fan? (correct me if I'm wrong).

The lowest price i recall this being was $699 earlier this year. (correction by rugerty100, this $699 price was for the last gen processor)

The 9370 with 4k also dipped to $1049 fwiw. Just throwing these prices out there (yeah yeah time machine...). It's a good deal, but not super hot imo.

IIRC, the $699 price point was for the 7th gen processor, which was dual core.

9360 also has 4x lane of pcie. 699 was for 7th gen 9360s not 8th gen. This is the lowest I believe.

      Correction: 2 lanes pcie tb3.

from the reviews i looked at last time, I'm pretty sure it's only 2x for this model. Do you have a link stating the 4x lanes?

Did some digging you’re correct, only 2 lanes tb3, apologies.
