    • Is Fido good about "renewing" the discount every year on request? Or do they give you a hard time? I'm OK with calling in once per year and asking, but not OK with begging multiple reps, and then switching back and forth to different providers. That's probably why I stuck with Carrytel all these years but the service is starting to get less reliable.

    • I contacted Fido and got them to re-apply the 50% discount for another year on my 150u package from last year. I got the email confirmation on November 11, but my fido account still shows my plan with $85. Is this normal or should I contact them again?

    • Just contacted FIDO through chat, threatened to cancel and got the below offer.

"Taking in consideration that you have been a long time customer and have always made payments on time and as a loyalty offer I would love to offer you 50%/mo discount for next 12 months on Fido home internet 150U - $75/mo package, You need to pay $37.50+txs/mo only for 12 months. How it does sounds to you ?"

      YMMV?
Discussed in the ongoing deal discussion thread: Fido 150/15 - 50% off again for existing customers ($37.50/month + HST = $42.37/month) YMMV

    • Used to pay 32.50 for 75mbs which was closer to 100. I guess prices went up these days. Switched to 1.5gb bell internet as I work entirely from home. Used to have issues with Fido and my work computer for whatever reason, but not a single one with bell.

    • If you are an existing customer on 150mbps, you can call in (or online chat) to get $42.50 for another year.
Thanks I was able to do the same and extend my offer.
For those who are existing who got the email saying "we are extending your 50% off offer for another year" check your invoice. I noticed they are starting to charge me for the modem rental. I have to message them about that

    • 45$/m for 100 is 50% off?
      Wtf.
      I pay 40/m for 100 but I don't think I have a particular good deal, was 35$ last year.

    • Weird. How come they only offer up to 100mpbs on their website?
I still have my 150mpbs deal but often get 200-300mpbs speeds.
