Legion 5 Pro Gen 8 with Ryzen 7 7745HX and RTX 4070 seems like a dang good laptop. Comes out to $1634 for me with the coupon after taxes.
I hesitate because the new LOQ models have 350nit screens compared to 300 nits on this model but I don't think they will go down to this price for a long time.

Lenovo is offering a 20% off deal on their Ebay store for back to school. Seems to be good amount of devices on sale. Combined with the already discounted prices on some products this could may be hot?
300 nits is fine
If the 20% discount were on the entire total (including tax), then you'd be correct.
Last week I was looking at the Yoga 11 tablet on the Lenovo.ca website and it was $350-370 (going by memory).
Now both eBay and the website are selling it for $430. Less 20% and it's $345. Still a bit cheaper, but not by nearly as much as they suggest. I would've been better buying it last week off their main site and using the ID.me discount.

for example a $1,358.99 laptop, the final price is 1,358.99*1.13-(1,358.99*20%) , so the coupon gives 20% discount, but the customer is still taxed on 100% (not 80% after the discount), is this normal?
