    • Ships from US what about below fees as mentioned below?

International shipment of items may be subject to customs processing and additional charges.
That is a general statement by eBay.

When you read "about this item," it says for Customs/Duties, "No customs or duties for this item – free shipping"

    • Issue with buyer address. But, they admitted to everyone who contacted them saying it was a BS reason that they cancelled because they didn't have enough stock.
Hah this seems like their usual "whoops we oversold this sale/price error" excuse. Happened last year through eBay store with LED light strips last december: https://forums.redflagdeals.com/ebay-ca ... 585525/11/

That's the same BS reason they gave me when I tried to buy that i7 with the 3080 a while back. I tried to push back saying it was valid then and valid now, and all I got was "I'm sorry our service disappointed you" email. Such crap.

You left out the part where they also lied about the reason for cancellation.

    • Just be warned that Lenovo Canada cancelled a ton of purchases on the X13 deal I posted and that the official site reps say they can't help nor give you any credit for future purchases. It's all YMMV but I won't buy through eBay again with them.

    • Seem like this is a really good deal

Legion 5 Pro Gen 8 with Ryzen 7 7745HX and RTX 4070 seems like a dang good laptop. Comes out to $1634 for me with the coupon after taxes.

I hesitate because the new LOQ models have 350nit screens compared to 300 nits on this model but I don't think they will go down to this price for a long time.

Lenovo is offering a 20% off deal on their Ebay store for back to school. Seems to be good amount of devices on sale. Combined with the already discounted prices on some products this could may be hot?
Is this different than the offer that was posted 2 days ago?

    • What specs do you look for that makes it a good laptop screen?
Like others said, 72% NTSC/100% SRGB. For me personally, I want 350 nits at least.
    • 72% ntsc is somewhat of a bare minimum. Ideal 100% srgb.

      300 nits is fine
72% NTSC is approximately equivalent to 100% sRGB

    • Some of the items aren't too bad. I picked up a docking station that ended up being cheaper than on the Lenovo website.
I find that there are a lot of cheap docking stations on Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace. Perhaps people who formerly did WFH and was given equipment?

    • Man all I want is a laptop with a good screen, all I can find are 300 nit 45% NTSC screens.
Look for a deal on Asus Zenbook or Vivobook Pro with OLED, one of the best screen you can get on a laptop.

    • I have noticed that Lenovo's pricing on their eBay store bounces around quite a bit, even when there are no promos. Then again, even their .com price changes at different times.

    • I swear that they just inflated the price up to account for this discount code.

Last week I was looking at the Yoga 11 tablet on the Lenovo.ca website and it was $350-370 (going by memory).

Now both eBay and the website are selling it for $430. Less 20% and it's $345. Still a bit cheaper, but not by nearly as much as they suggest. I would've been better buying it last week off their main site and using the ID.me discount.
Yep, I noticed that with the M200 Legion mouse which was 18 bucks when I last looked a week or two ago? Now it's 26.99.

    • It's the same whether you charge the tax before or after the discount. :-)
No, that's incorrect. Tax is charged and then the 20% discount is taken off of the subtotal.

If the 20% discount were on the entire total (including tax), then you'd be correct.
    • in Ontario, it looks they charge 13% tax on 100% of the unit price, not 80% of the unit price

for example a $1,358.99 laptop, the final price is 1,358.99*1.13-(1,358.99*20%) , so the coupon gives 20% discount, but the customer is still taxed on 100% (not 80% after the discount), is this normal?
