View allViewing angles aren't great, but then again how often will you be viewing it off angle.
The price for this is very good, there just isn't another 27" 1440p 144hz G-Sync/Freesync that can compete. IPS panels will drive up the price 50%+.
I have an old 24" 1900x1200 Dell Ultrasharp right now and I want to upgrade this year to a 1440p monitor (I would like a 4k monitor but there is no way I can afford a GPU that can drive a 4k monitor).
The monitor you reference costs $599.99 which is a bit steep . . .does it go on sale very often?
Edit: RTINGS.com review says the OPs monitor is very good for gaming but mediocre otherwise, PC Mag's review also indicates that is very good for gaming but not a great all-around monitor . . .
It looks like a great gaming monitor but I need a monitor that is pretty good all-around . . .the Acer might fit the bill but there doesn't seem to be a lot of reviews on it.
Edit: Turns out it's Purolator. Should be here on monday.
One thing I don't understand is why Dell is allowed to charge the 10% PST for Quebec residents? They have no physical store here. That added 40$ in taxes to my order... I tried to talk to customer service and they didn't know either.
I'll pass.

This makes no sense.
I bought this monitor a month ago for $500 with tax @Dell, and it's pretty amazing for this price.
Running this with a RTX 2070 with G-sync ON (after Nvidia released a driver update in january, some Freesync monitor are now compatible with G-Sync, this one included)!
27" 1440p 144hz with G-sync with this pixel density is really the best for gaming.
Obv reviews are true, black are far from deep and perfect (compare to a VA, LED,...) but pretty acceptable.
I might also see if I can run the 4k display on my processors integrated graphics, since all it needs to do is display webpages, and youtube videos.
