    • That 7040 micro form factor is a very good price at $319. Been shopping a Dell MFF or a Lenovo Tiny for a while and this is one to grab.

Agree. 6th Gen Intel Desktop as their "manager's pick" today at 3/4 of the price of a brand new 10th Gen Intel Desktop is just a joke. I would probably pick one up at 1/2 of their current promotional price.

Do you have an example link? Looking for a replacement for a Core 2 Duo desktop whose motherboard just died.

      I got a Dell OptiPlex 3020 ( i5-4590 + 8gb ram + 500gb HDD) for $149.00 last Boxing Day.

I just purchased a Lenovo ideacentre 5 with AMD® Ryzen™ 3 4300G, 8 GB DDR4, 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD + 128 GB PCIe SSD for 470 with 12% rebate. Ryzen 3 4300G benchmark score is 11714, i5-6500 is 5662, your C2D is probably at low 1000 range. Here we didn’t even talked about the much, much better GPU part of the new ryzen chip. I bought this to replace a refurbished dell optiplex i5-2400. I bought that 4 years ago and it’s dying now. IMO, $250 for an i5 6500 is not a good deal.
