I just tried using it too and it appears to be dead.

Good news is that it was finally shipped on Jan 19th. Still no update on the tracking number.

    • Definitely not a Tv for productivity or work. It would be these 3 choices. Get the QHD for budget, 4K for video, and the DGF for gaming.
Why would you not recommend a TV for work? If there’s no issue with screen being pixel-y and it’s more affordable than a monitor, it could work no?

    • I ordered my S2721Q on Boxing Day and received it on Jan 10th (delayed from Jan 6th.) I guess I was lucky that the demand was lower for this model.

    • To simply put it: what’s the difference between those screen types and are there other screen types worth looking into?

      Appreciate it!
Basically, the major difference is the resolution and the frame rate you would like to see.

If you're not a major gamer who wants to save a bit, get the QHD.
If you want to see at a higher resolution for editing, movie watching, or game at visually high quality with a cap of 60Hz, consider the 4K (at a slightly higher price).
If you are an FPS gamer and really need the high FPS, consider the DGF (at a slightly higher price).

The two lower options should only be considered if you have a GPU powerful enough to really render the picture at that higher resolution or frames (Hz).

      Hope that helps!

    • If I’m price sensitive, don’t use the PC all that much (mainly for productivity/work/occasional videos and games), know next to nothing about monitors nowadays, what monitor or qualities in a monitor would you recommend? Or would getting a TV w/ HDMI port to connect to the PC make more sense?

Tried to cancel and was offered only $15 compensation, saying this was the max for my order. Saw an older thread that offered $20-30.

    • Sorry for reposting this comment but this thread looks way more active... Anyone have any opinion on getting a 4k tv (43") to use as a monitor instead? Pros vs cons?

Edit, found my own answer. If anyone else is wondering: https://redd.it/r94skx

    • I have a S2721DS that I will be returning if anyone in Vancouver (North Vancouver) region is interested in. I will be sticking with the 4K version for screen real estate.

    • Yes pretty good. The 3060ti is usually very overpriced (currently going double), the 12600k is brand new and DDR5 is usually overpriced too. Fantastic build. I have the 3060ti myself, after a 1 year waiting period. Fantastic Card 4K 60 in pretty much any title, with max setting minus AA.

    • My god, using the different scaling with different monitor resolutions is so so bad. Your cursor won't move to the second monitor correctly at all.

I couldn't stand the mess you just put yourself in.
Check out Little Big Mouse if you have this issue. Will make the cursor jump between screens flawlessly when using different resolution monitors.

    • I don't understand the preference for IPS over VA. IPS has low contrast(1000:1), slow refresh rate while VA is on average 3000:1 to 5000:1 for contrast and < 10ms refresh rate.

The only advantage of IPS is viewing angle which is immaterial for a monitor. You are not going to watch it from the sides. IPS makes sense for large TVs not for monitors.
This is not immaterial for a monitor if I use 2x or 3x side by side - one/two to work on and one to watch videos on, etc ... viewing angles matter

that means I won't have to fiddle around mixing and matching... Oh, VA in center, IPS in outer ...
