I would say yes. I started off on a 27", then wanted 2x 27" but wanted them both the same monitors. So I started shopping and started looking into ultrawide screens. I was gonna picked up a budget ultrawide but somehow ended up with the alienware 38". I don't regret the purchase one bit. I will never switch the ultrawide to 2x monitor even though never having experiencing 2 monitors.

But I also don't do much on the ultrawide. I don't game often, only D2 Resurrected these days. I do browse youtube, check emails, and sometimes netflix. Oh, and to check the stock market.

    • Ordered. Thanks OP! Was thinking about getting a bigger curved ultra-wide to replace my Dell S2719DGF for 1440p gaming. Couldn't resist at this price.

    • I was looking at picking up another 27" monitor, but decided to just go with this 34" instead.

Dell's checkout is a bit of a mess, I'm stuck on the submit order page.

      It's telling me:
"Apologies, we are facing temporary outage of services, but don't worry you can still submit Complete Order again"
but I got their order received email... sooo I guess I'm fine?

    • No HDMI 2.1 so I’m assuming no 120Hz via PS5?

This is VA panel, not IPS like the S27.

    • How does Dell monitors compare to LG, BenQ, higher end Asus and Samsung monitors?

    • I've had ips for years, really enjoying the deeper blacks in this monitor but you give up some ips benefits.

The curved ultrawide aspect and the price make it. I got a killer deal with the Rakuten 15 percent and 10 percent coupon making it around 530 after tax.

You can notice the difference between 1ms and 2ms?

    • grabbed one with the 10% coupon and 8% rakuten(.com), should be under 500 all done, seems reasonable... i'm not a huge gamer so i dont know a lot of the specs but i hope it's good enough for my kid, he's been looking for an ultrawide for a while.

The 34'' monitor has a horizontal extention on the 27'' monitor with roughly 30% more displace area. I do not think it is adequent to replace the dual-27'' display setting. Personally I prefer the 32'' monitor when it comes to office work than this.

Not 4k no support for 120hz, and there will be black bars on both sides if you pair it up with a PS5
