      Just curious.. as I am not a mouse person, why is the original price of 6400 DPI more expensive (43 + 26.99 = $70) than 16000 DPI (20 + 39.99 = $60) ?

    • Better price than BF/Boxing day.
They are probably flushing out stock as the new ones are out.

    • Good mouse at this price. If you want to find reviews for the essential look up reviews for the deathadder 2013 as they are the same mouse. I've owned two and both had the middle mouse click stop working after about a year. It's a known issue so keep that in mind if it's important to you.

    • They ever solve the double click issue on this beauty? (i've owned 3, they all eventually developed a double click issue. That said, I still love them, haha.)

Newbie question but what's the advantage of having higher dpi? Can't you always just increase sensitivity?

    • Like the poster above me said.

It is a great mouse but will eventually develop the double click issue. I got tired after the second one and moved to a Logitech.

Great mouse (while it works) and you can't beat this price.

    • Also had 3 that developed the double click issue, but it took a couple years of intense daily gaming. At this price you can't hardly go wrong.

Higher polling usually means higher precision (i.e intended movement) at higher DPIs. It'll detect smaller movements and therefore you are more in control of the mouse.

    • Would be great if they'd offer a left-handed version. Sigh.

They changed the Mouse at some point and added the rubber grips to the sides. I have the version that came before that without the rubber, and I prefer it. My mouse is from about 2013 and still works fine. It developed the double click issue but I was able to service the switches inside maybe 4 years ago and it's still working fine since.

They did the same for the TCL 6 Series 55" :'(

    • The double click issue I had on the deathadder 2013 was actually fixed with a firmware update. I'll see if I can find it and I'll update my post. Been using the same mouse since.

Can't guarantee it'll fix it but it did work for me
