    • I love my two, one question has anyone set this up to work on different TV"s with the same google home profile?

    • BTW the controller itself is nothing fancy in this kit, its the ability to use the app, and also do some stuff with your home automation that rocks.

I can turn on the tv/stereo/receiver, turn up the volume, change channels (spotty thou for now) pause the tv etc all sitting there yelling commands.

    • As a harmony old timer, can someone tell me if this new remote can set its interkey delay to 0 and repeat to 0 for instant response?

The last harmony I tried (harmony ultimate I believe) could not do it as there was always a delay to send the command to the hub.

If not, I’m sticking with my 650...

      Thanks

    • I got this combo last year. I love the idea of the hub, not a huge fan of the remote. It works, but it's missing buttons and no LCD screen is crap imo. There is no page up/down button for the guide (you can set one of the colour keys to do it. There is no skip for the DVR, just FF/RW.

The keys are a little small.

Overall the remote feels solid, it works, I just get annoyed at the missing features.
If a device becomes out of sync, you need to either manually turn it off or use your phone to get it back sync. It doesn't happen often but when it does I remember why I hate the fact that there isn't a screen on this remote.

I'd just like to add, it is worth 89.99 imo.

    • When you're in the guide, channel up down works for me for page up/down. You could also set channel up/down on a long press to go up and down pages.

    • I have this and I gotta say that setting this thing up is a pain in the ass. However once you actually get it all set up and working, it's amazing.

I don't like how you cannot turn the PS4 on but that's a Sony issue not a Logitech issue.

Long press works for me but it often goes up or down multiple pages instead of 1, just like long press FF is skip forward for DVR function but's very difficult to control.

What do you use more SkipFwd or FastFwd? I use SkipFwd 95% of the time, so that is short press and FastFwd is long press.

I also have the long press on the coloured buttons to power toggle my devices in case they get out of sync. Hardly ever need them, but I know it's there (mind you, nobody else does). My favourite little customization is a sequence to auto skipFwd 3minutes (long press 3) which is about the time for the average commercial package.

Being able to quickly grab my phone if the remote is across the room is nice. Or alexa (not used that much). As noted above - a bit of hassle to setup but, then you can appreciate the power and flexibility of the hub.

No, there's a sale on it every 2 months and it's the same thing everytime.

Cool tips. I'll have to try the 3 minute skip.

My problem with the FF vs. skip forward is I like skip forward and my wife like FF. I'd rather complain about the lack of functionality online than have my wife complain to me about the button layout. :)

You can still turn on your ps4 indirectly through the use of HDMI Device Link (BRAVIA™ Sync for Sony TVs). I am able to tell Google Home to tell Harmony to turn on my ps4 through the HDMI cable of my TV.

you cant unfortunately you need another google home account.. what I do is use Alexa for one and google for the other. I really do hate alexa though.

    • I wish Logitech would make one of these but ship without such a gimped remote.

Automation is great but sometimes you just want to channel surf with your trusty remote.

I haven't been able to let go of my Harmony One, and my 650's for this reason.

If it has an IR blaster it can control it via the hub.
