      so basically all my photos on my hp computer with windows 7..i can put it all on this ssd drive and store it there,,and from there i can put all my photos, now that are onto the ssd drive and transport it to another computer if i wish...correct

      Or install Google Backup & Sync and upload it all to Google Photos for free. If you don't mind some compression.

      But you are correct in your question but for the same price you could get a 3TB portable hdd.

      I think all these micro externals are msata frankendrives, would be nice to know if one was shuckable though in case the port fails.
