Ya that's why Its reduced in price.. I don't think it will get ai2.0... I bought one at 149...then another at 129..now it's 99 😂.. Should I buy a 3rd and return the first 2?

At first I thought u can voice control it but it is just alexa bt speaker add on.. Not a smart voice activated router... Sound is pretty good with Amazon music and dts atmos sound

But at 99 instant buy cuz its 3in1...alexa.

    • Does this work well if I already have rogers modem with two eeros (1 pro + 1 beacon)? Need some more coverage so I was thinking about adding more eeros, or should I get this instead?
      Thanks in advance.

    • Sound like a very good deal. However, this is AC. If you have 1/2 to full gigabit internet, there are maybe reasons to upgrade.

    • Got one from BB before the new year. Good sound and nice looks. Satisfies so far but I'm not an advanced user. Tried to connect an asus wifi extender as mesh but it doesn't work. I think it's a faulty extender. Getting consistent signal throughout the whole house anyway so I'm okay.

That makes sense to me and my AIMesh config - extenders aren't nodes. They don't participate in AIMesh, unfortunately. Sounds like it's working as expected.

      Which extender?

This router can be a primary AiMesh router or AiMesh node according to tech specs

It's ac55 extender. It connects to ai mesh just fine but as soon as a device connects to the extender the light turns red and it restarts. Moved it around and still the same result. Router firmware is the same. I set the lyra as access point but I don't see it as the issue with the node. Its either faulty or incompatible.

Which device are you connecting to the range extender?

I had this same range extender restarting when I connected to it with a Samsung phone.

Had to disable "Detect suspicious networks" on the phone to stop the range extender from restarting

How does Detect Suspicious Network feature work on your Phone?
Detect Suspicious Network is a client-based solution that is primarily designed to safeguard smartphone users from common forms of Wi-Fi attacks through suspicious hotspots. Suspicious hotspots often have network names or SSIDs that are similar to other legitimate access points that appear on the network scan list. Such networks or hotspots will capture all transmitted packets and attempt to manipulate these packets to their advantage.

It's S10+ , so the issue must be the same. I'll check and give it a try again. Thanks!
