    • Toshiba TY-SBX130 16-Watt 2.0 Channel Sound Bar - $129.99 (regularly $179.99)

is tempting... but so is the cheaper LG from RCSS. Can anyone speak to quality of these standalone speaker bars? I'm just looking to direct the sound out to the seating area vs the floor under the TV. I would imagine for what they are, they should be very similar in performance.

Need to get a toslink cable to test the LG SJ1 out. The Toshiba would seem really underpowered though, at 16w. If you could, you should at least get the other model they have, it does have a woofer but at least it's wireless

The LG is my first sound bar, may end up moving it away and going with a wireless woofer setup come boxing day.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll go see if they have one left in stock in Karnataka today and give it a whirl. I don’t need the woofer since my audiophile days ended with having kids haha

I personally wouldn't buy it. I prefer full HD and this one doesn't have it.

I would buy a luggage with long lasting warranty. Personally, I buy Eddie Bauer as I have had only good experiences with them. Had a 10 year old wheeled carry-on and simply went to a store for a replacement to a newer model.

Here's a list of luggages that have life-time like warranty including airline damage (repair or replace):

      Boyt Mach 5
Briggs & Riley (Simple as that® lifetime guarantee)
      Burton
      Eagle Creek (ES, Velocity, HC2)
      eBags
      Eddie Bauer
      Eminent
      Norm Thompson
      Orvis
      Osprey "Almighty" warranty
      Pelican
Red Oxx (No Bull warranty covers everything)
      Titan (in USA)
Victorinox (Carry with Confidence warranty for top tier lines and covers CC damage for life; Global Lifetime Plus covers CC damage for first 5 years)
      Zero Halliburton Z-Flex

I don’t know if it’s I that didn’t understood your point, or you that didn’t understood mine
