    • All I wanted was a 43" 4k LG UN7300 or 43" Samsung TU8000 TV on a good sale. I saw better sales on both last week. Darn you Best Buy! Darn you! 🤨

Does this mean Pixel 4a is ~$90 + activation fees & taxes? (10*24-150), and that the Pixel 5 is ~$330? (20*24-150), or even $305 with Rogers? I know you can just buy out your tab with Koodo, not sure if you can do that with Rogers too...

Good deal for either of them?

*Edit: The fine print says gift card offers applicable plans only and excludes outright purchases :( so I'm guessing you need to be on a plan for at least a minimum number of months too?

Well if you sign up with the tab on Koodo, can't you just pay off Koodo? It's not being billed to Best Buy Mobile.. it's not technically an outright purchase because you signed up with a tab with Koodo through Best Buy. Not sure if this would work but it could be possible workaround?

was looking at the 65" hoping it may go on sale but that did not happen.

I'm taking it to mean they'll claw back the gift card if you're not on the plan for say... 3 months minimum or something.

Hasn't worked like that for a while. Used to be you could just pay off the tab and cancel, or do another hardware upgrade. It was nice when it did.

True. But how would they know? I don't think these offers are like banks where they can keep track (let's hope)

Wait you can't just pay off the tab and cancel anymore? Even disregarding the gift card??? I did that with my Pixel 3 two years ago.

      From their website:

You have the option to pay off your Tab balance in full before it reaches $0, but before you can pay off your Tab Balance, you'll need to wait for at least 90 days after you sign up for a Tab. If you pay off your Tab balance but still have a remaining Tab Bonus balance, it will continue to go down each month until it reaches $0 after 24 months.

So looks like you can pay off Koodo but after 90 days.

    • I have my eyes on a monitor that is in this week's flyer. Doesnt have the Black friday price guarantee on it.

Now I see that it isnt in the BF flyer.

Is my logic right that it will go back in price for BF (280$) with no deal on it?
Or it may go further down in price (but at that point I guess they would have advertised it in the flyer)?

It seems that this went as low as 200$ for labor day

wonder if this model is a good buy

Well... that sucks. Essentially cancels out the gift cards, making the Pixel 4a $240 and Pixel 5 $480, which is still warm-ish.

What about Rogers? Do you know if you can just pay their tab off right away with no issues?
