    • Living in Vancouver, I can tell you that Best Buy's turnaround time for some orders are amazing, even better than Amazon, and Amazon is no slouch in that department.

I'm thankful for the HDD deals at Best Buy (which Amazon sometimes copies in order to snag customers).

BTW, the only time I lined up outside a store on Boxing Day was at London Drugs, and only because I got there a few minutes too early, after hitting Best Buy first. Cheap Toffifee is where it's at 😃 .

    • I haven’t bought anything at Best Buy in forever. Car seats, cribs and dumbbells ….

When did Best Buy turn into Walmart?
Since all the cheap asses on here keep saying they miss Best Buy lining up outside etc… but turn around and say “oh I can order on Amazon and don’t have to move”.

Best Buy has to compete so they sell everything now. Especially with amazon since all amazon does is price match

    • Hmm. Can't say anything here really tickles my fancy but I guess that's at least partly due to having picked up the 14TB Western Digital Easystore for $269.99 ($19.21/GB, the first sub-$20 deal I'd seen in a very long time and still haven't seen anything to beat it since). [...]

    • Picked up a couple of the 256gb memory cards. Didn't seem like that great of a deal but these seem pretty high end and will hopefully last. Been having annoying problems with cheaper memory cards so we'll see.

    • Snagged a 16 TB. Missed the 14 TB during Black Friday, but @ $21.88 / tb, it's not too bad of a premium to pay over the $20/tb mark for a larger capacity

    • My laptop was from 2011
      My TV was from 2009-ish...

depends on how often you upgrade :)
I upgrade my TV every decade and my laptop every 6-8 years.

    • Innovation is lacking lately. Products have reached their peak. Why bother upgrading your cell phone, laptop, TVs etc when there is not that much improvement to your existing devices.

    • Is it just me or does Boxing Day at Best Buy get worse every year?

I feel like these deals are available year round and in a matter of fact can usually get a better deal not on Boxing Day.
Part of the reason = stock shortage due to covid
      Another part = covid inflation

I think most actually expected Boxing Day/week deals to be pretty bad this year. So far it definitely has lived up to that expectations. Funny thing is some items actually were cheaper earlier in the year because their cost didn’t inflate yet. The hottest deals probably will be some items (consoles, gpu, etc) restocking.

    • Lol $60 for a controller is a deal? Wasn't it under $50 last year.

    • Boxing Day is so ho-hum this year. Not only BB but everywhere. I keep wondering if it`s due to COVID-related supply issues or if I just don't need/want anything or if I'm just becoming better immunized (no COVID pun intended) to marketing as I grow older.

    • Do xbox controllers in general go on sale often? Haven't kept tabs on gaming prices these days.....but was thinking to pick up a controller for PC. $15 off seems pretty minimal. Is this like the all time low?

    • Looks like the Xbox controller is part of the second batch of "deals" starting at 6pm ET instead.

Ordered two to see if both can be connected to the same PC without the $30 wireless adapter.
If your PC has Bluetooth, yes. If not, no.

Thank you, I am trying to get the free shipping, it only shows an option for me to select Express shipping too. Please stay connected.
Sorry for the hold, we are working on figuring out what's causing this so we can get it corrected too if it's a system glitch. Please extend your patience.

Just Google Amazon Warehouse deal Canada and it will take you to Amazon site (or app) and then in search box type Xbox wireless controller. Mind you they are USED condition you don’t know what you’re getting for $48.
