It's really random with what they decide gets tax charged but one thing is for sure the yearly Prime membership of $79 gets charged tax.
I had a few things on my list (for a couple months) and pulled the trigger amounting to material savings.
DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo $499 (reg $600-650)
Samsung Q7CR 3.2.1 soundbar and sub $499 (reg up to $999 but can find on sale for $700)
Cosori Air Fryer $111 (reg $150)
Nepresso VertuoPlus coffee machine $99 (reg $215)
Dewalt Brushless Combo drill/driver kit $161 (reg $315)
Plus a couple smaller items few $ off (LED backlight for TV and SD card)
Now the hunt for a 65-75” TV deal begins for Black Friday
This will come in handy when opening or repairing at home.
But why are taxes not charged on this or other items?
Does Prime Day make it a Tax Free event?
Most of my purchases are from 40% off S&S, highlight of the prime day for me
I'm in the market for an office chair and room divider but I'm not even sure Amazon would have something decent for that. The OXO cutting board someone mentioned earlier didn't seem good for the pricr, t SAXX deals seemed bad. Didn't really go out looking for anything else.
The 40% for SNS seemed good but I think I was late to that psrty. Anyone want to make me regret my laziness by telling me their best finds?
Netflix not saving The Expanse after SyFy dropped it has to be one of the most regrettable decisions they've made next to Cuties and signing the idiots (D&D) from Game of Thrones.
I'll have to check out the other recommendations on the list since we might like the same shows. I'd also like to add 'The Tick' to the list, it's kind of weird but surprisingly good, it gives me some HBO Watchmen vibes. It's not as good as 'The Boys' but is underrated and in my opinion deserved to be renewed for another season.

I personally feel like recent big movies are landing on Prime more than on Netflix... and I'm talking about movies included with Prime like Jumanji: The next Level, Bad Boys for Life, Midway, Knives Out, Gemini Man, BloodShot, Fantasy Island etc...Not seeing many recent big movies on Netflix, or maybe I'm just not looking hard enough
If the borders are open and we get the full blown Black Friday... I think there's a bigger issue at hand...

Was looking for several things for the yard/garage, a dash cam, an SSD and some video game items - Not a single good sale outside of the $118 SSD that was sold out right away...
Total of $20 spent this year on some Amazon brand AA eneloops and 1kg of wine gums, rofl.
Pyrex Measuring Set
Dewalt Torq Impact
OXO Cutting Board
Victorinox Knife
I'm impressed with how quickly Amazon is getting my orders shipped. I've already had a bunch of packages delivered today and I received an email after 9PM saying there's another one on its way to me tonight. If it actually is on the way it likely won't be delivered until after midnight so I'll leave the outside lights on just in case.
And if a porch pirate swipes the package overnight, they'll be disappointed when they open the package and find out that they're now the proud owner of 12 pairs of underwear.
I know Amazon owned the online game in the early-to-mid stages of this pandemic (and completely saved my family with many essential products), but I really think they both lost and underestimated the holiday shopping crowds here.
Purchased mostly lightning deal.
Kcup pods
Portable jump starter
Remember amazon made lots of money this year so they didn’t really had to give us this but they did. Hopefully we see more good deals during Black Friday... that’s when they have the most competition
I've never seen such a useless assortment of stuff from unknown brands.
Really interested to see the results tomorrow morning.
Edit - Looks like it's only some of the batteries: 12 pack of AAA, 4 pack of C and 4 pack of D
Works for me. Make sure you check the order summary.
Under the item in the checkout it shows "See the order summary for the price after discount"
